Can you clean up sources?
see an chicoind.exe and lot more checked in, that shouldnt be there.
also need to do first:
make clean inside the leveldb dir,
precompiled sources...IEEEK!

can check the sourceforge for release with zip
to compile qt, the chicoin-qt.pro need to be modified between windows and linux, the chicoin-qt.pro on git is currently for linux

building unix fails:
/libleveldb.a: could not read symbols: File format not recognized
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [chicoind] Error 1
the version of gcc make a difference/libleveldb.a: could not read symbols: File format not recognized
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [chicoind] Error 1
the qt 4.8.4 compatible with mingw4.4 but not later version
as I mentioned later, the problem was precompiled sources in GIT.

Maybe difficult increasing?
But wouldn't I then get just less accepts/hour, instead of no accepts at all for about an hour, after which the amount of accepts rises again? This could only happen I think if someone has a very powerful asic, which makes the difficulty increase very fast, but then he stops mining again after an hour or so?
But anyway, I haven't seen the diff rise above 8192, which it is at now.

So, what exactly is happening here? Why do I find many blocks during one hour, and none in the next? Look at the gap between the block found at 11:46 and 12:38. There also is a big gap between 13:38 and 15:17. And at the moment it is 16:06 over here, with the last block at 15:36.
The hashrate and internet connection have been stable all the time. With other coins I've never experienced something like this?

I can see this coin was originally only launched on 24th Dec .... why the re-launch?
Same question i have done. This is Sha256. the other one is Scrypt
OP page at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-chicoin-chi-sha256-based-coin-of-energy-force-re-launch-v095-382690 says SHA though title says Scrypt .... hence my confusion
Will look at adding a pool later today .....
