People think ? Smart people accumulating cloak, rich lists has not moved. Price has been driven down purposely in order for accumulation . Think people , think the graph are misleading

Onemarket is not even out yet.

Trolls and liars are rampant here.

Nothing but misinformation.

Cloakstrong needs a new secure way to communicate.

Then ditch this rat infested thread.

so, since another bunches of pages gone by filled with nonsense, here is the latest news:

Update:

Cloak devs working hard as usual, there's a lot to get done and we're not stopping for anything.

Block escrow for the time being is the center of that development as it applies to both PoSA and OneMarket.

CloakPal, the SMS mobile wallet from the secondary dev team has been made public at www.cloakpal.com

Questions can be directed to Ludx on #Cloakcoin IRC related to CloakPal.

We've also been working on a graphical and relatively "easy to follow" explanation of how PoSA v2 works, that should become public over the next 24 hours or so.

PDF link will be posted here as soon as it's ready and also on www.cloaktalk.org

lol from watching the blockchain... fudding about posa being just a coinmixer to pointing at charts.... thats what i call a fudding AGENDA ... leave it troll

but this proves nothing... it could still be a simple mixer, like they implemented already, until theres some kind of open BETA testing or peer review cloak will continue to drop IMO, or how bout a DEV unmasking atleast...

You're wrong.  If PoSA v1 is just a simple mixer it'd be vulnerable to taint analysis.  Go do some transactions and try basic taint analysis on the addresses involved.

Or you can do a PoSA transaction knowing both the sender and receiver and try to connect the dots.  If you know the source and destination of a mixed transaction it's trivial to trace the movement through the blockchain when mixing is used.

open public BETA testing, more in-depth technical info, code reviewed by trusted source....

PoSA was in open Beta for weeks (and in IRC you can ask any questions from devs and they will be happy to answer them), now the live PoSA wallet is out:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8257810

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8262933

and for ppl that don't bother to read here it is from the links above:

"PoSA has been a closed source build, to protect it from cloning but when PoSA v2 launches expect a full audit from cryptographer/s or code analyst/s with the aim of adding an extra level of "trust and authenticity" in our work."

DRK code is also closed source but they have still managed to provide open BETA testing and show glimpses of the code (or atleast how it functions), its funny how little technical discussion there is on this thread and the CLOAK community as a whole.... 0.o

man just watching the cloak graph is amusing .. got my popcorn.... the lack of buy support is startling...

Not at all concerned! Have fun watching graphs  Cool

Could someone explain to me why is PoSA v2 anonymous?
Ally has 2 PoSA addresses: Joe's and Node#1.
The transaction flow is the following:
tx#1 Ally is sending coins to Node#1 PoSA address together with Joe's PoSA address (how do you send the address in a transaction?).
tx#2 Node#1 is sending coins to Joe's PoSA address. (this was not (well) described in the diagram)
tx#3 Joe is sending coins from his PoSA address to Node#2 PoSA address
tx#4 Node#2 is sending coins to Joe's receiving address

Here is the problem I see: tx#4 is not anonymous as Joe's receiving address is linked with Ally's sending address through the above 4 transactions.
Just in case, here is the diagram with the possibly problematic line: https://i.imgur.com/UCMqsIr.jpg

How does that connecting line imply that Node #2 has knowledge of Ally's address?  I don't get how you're forming that conclusion.

This is the same result as CLOAKSEND 1.0 which was nothing but a simple mixer, we need some more concrete proof, open public BETA testing, more in-depth technical info, code reviewed by trusted source....

and as far as the price declining, its obvious if you follow the blockchain that DEV/early adopter mined ALOT of cloak, worst case senerio is that cloak devs are still using simple mixer (like cloaksend/posa v1), mocked up a video to make it look like they have more advanced working anon features (and maybe pushed price up by themselves , like happend when cloak was accepted by mintpal, price automatically shot up 150%, in hopes it would stabilize and they could offload), and now dev knows that he cant produce any real proof and will refuse to do open BETA (i've been waiting WEEKS) or a peer code review, and is trying to dump as much cloak as possible, remember guys this is still an ANON DEV.... please be careful

if cloak turns out to be legit that would be awesome, we need more working anon solutions in crypto Smiley

Theres a guy on twitter offering $100K to anyone that can crack PoSA, you should try the challenge!

you will find his link back a few pages.

Sounds like you have it figured out so easy money ... Cheesy

I think Kristov Atlas might be interested when hes done reviewing the DRK code, is the 100k in escrow, if not then its gotta be bullshit imo
