Does anyone have any ACTUAL proof that this coin is still being worked on? Has ANYONE actually talked to Alty? He hasn't logged in here in 3 weeks. There is no code to review if Alty is done. Cloakcoin is closed source. Cant audit code that you don't have. Ive lost a LOT of money in cloak coin and nobody wants to see it succeed more than me, but if the coin is dead then its only fair that we know whats going on so we can get out while we still can.

I thought the developer said it was proving to difficult to continue and gave up? As far as I know the coin failed its audit and thats when the price started its decline. The coin is closed source so nobody can work on it now. I think this funding thing is bullshit and you would be crazy to donate. If anyone has any info to disprove this developer walking info, please let us all know.

Even though it wrecked the value of the coin, the 1st
Audit was honest, regardless of the consequences.
Ok, now this time there will be more to be audited, right?
If alty is willing to lay all the cards on the table
( the entire code to a neutral 3rd party ) .... Well, either he's bluffing or

Audit is bunch of bullshit. At this point just open up the code so we can all look. Been waiting since july, still closed source, and now XC dev might audit? By this point the devs themselves should be able to do an audit and know what doesn't work. If you still can't tell your own flaws, then I am officially losing hope. I think I was one of the longest believers.

I am going to bite the bullet and make a donation to the audit fund on Monday night. Not huge, probably around .05. We just need 40 folks to do this and the funds are there for audit.

I'm on vacation and haven't kept up the last few days. What's the deal - no release until it's audited? Does that mean it's going to be like another month or two?
I too would like to know what the current plan is. Are we just waiting on enough money for the audit or is development continuing while we are collecting?
Have you been living in the cave for the past 2 months? cloak was an elaborate scam that included devs, bobsurplus and some other whales and pump and dump groups.
I got out at 35 K at a substantial loss - should have sold out at 100 K. It was a fraud - IMO the most sophisticated alt coin fraud so far. Very cunning - and it left many people angry to the point that they have been doxing alty, bobsurplus and other individuals involved in it.
Interersting scam coin. There was development and there is a new audit planned.
The facts: whales and p&d groups pumped the price, many got in at the highs and hoped to become incredibly rich within a few weeks. The whales left, there was not enough buy support to keep the price high and the "investors" sold at big losses (some have loans from their banks!!!) ...
You forget to mention the fact that there was insider trading from 350K all the way to 10K
There's insider trading with all coins. Nobody was forced to buy Cloak, all is speculation. That's the point.

Ok, I think some clarification is needed on just what the situation is with Cloak at this present time. My questions are:
So in providing c4shm3n with the sourcecode has Alty handed the destiny of this coin over to the community?
I'm asking this question as this marks a significant change from the previous history of Alty pushing through and paying for all the developments himself to now asking the community to move this coin forward out of their own pockets.
If this is the case what about the other projects associated with Cloak for example Onemarket? Are these still in development? Is Alty funding these or is the community taking these on as well?
Everyone with a stake in Cloak is obviously interested in its eventual success but as the community is now getting involved in more fundamental way everyone's intentions need to be made clear and open regarding Cloaks future.
