So many wallet questions in this thread.I have posted a couple and gotten no answers. Probably would be a really good idea with a help file under the help tab in upcoming version?

So I am taking down the majority of my CLOAKs off the exchange, how long does it usually take a wallet to sync? I downloaded the wallet last night and still has not finished syncing.

Thx for the link. Bit of a missed opportunity i'd say, he seemed pretty clueless in discussing it. Is that because of poor research ..............or there is just no better information out there?

I found latest wallet a bit unstable - both, Mac and Windows versions are crashing with exception error after running for 6 - 9 hours. And I'm also getting "not minting due to immature coins" error, yet both wallets synced ok and seem to be on the right fork. Any suggestions?

i use sine 36h mac wallet 1.9.6  very stable!!!

I concur - windows 1.9.6 wallet is stable and has run continuously since updating. If you're getting unexplained crashes on two different operating systems my first three guesses would be:
i) your electricity supply isn't stable
ii) you are being hacked
iii) you have gained magnetic super powers and should leave the world of cryptocurrencies behind as you embark on a life of crime-fighting/villainy (your choice)

Lol... I will try to control my magnetic super power. And what about POS? Wallets are encrypted and unlocked for POS only. Any suggestion?

Please. Do not rush this Dagger. Take your time, I prefer quality before quantity

Totally agree, please release flawless product, no rushes. Don't care about current prices dipping, it's the end product i'm investing in and whatever time that takes is okay with me. Rather they beta test longer to make sure it's solid then find flaw after release.

+1.  Not even worried about prices.  Focus on the product and take extra time needed.

PoSA Status update:

Fixing up remaining bugs from 1.9.7.1 (dev build for testnet PoSA)

Fingers crossed we'll have 1.9.7.2 by morning and can continue onto community beta.

How is that update coming? Will we see it today or perhaps tomorrow? Sorry, don't wanna hurry you -- I know a good work needs time -- I just can't wait to put my hands on the test version of PoSA.

Dealing with some serialization issues atm.
because I don't know what serialization is can some explain it to me, just wanna be in the know of what's going on.

Generally it means formatting data structures in such a way that they can be easily reconstructed later possibly in a totally different operating environment.
