Okay. I 'll let it go. I'm out of here! I know where I am not welcomed. I hope the next prospective investor who comes on your site gets a better reception than I did. BTW: I did NOT get any payout from the pool!!!

All the best and happy mining!

Lol, martyrdom is strong in this one. Gotta love rage quits.

Oh, damn. He must have taken his millions of prospective dollars with him Sad

Too many immature idiots runnin rampant in these threads and communities. Whitelion is right, and you guys make it really easy to dump coins or piss off whales capable of supressing prices. You guys have to understand that some of us are grown people, with families to support. Start acting professionally because at this infant stage in crypto, the coin at hand is represented by the community. Some of you need to grow up a little bit.

Hey? So every grandma that walks in here and needs everyone to hold hands crossing the crypto road is going to create a successful coin? Some of you folk are like grasshoppers jumping in front of an 18 wheeler truck. Go and invest in blue-chip stocks and houses if this is too much for you (seriously).

I saw the same sense of entitlement when blackcoin started getting popular at around 7k sats. What really helped were people having fun, being involved and active. The ones that added bloat to the community were the ones coming in expecting every damn detail to be laid out for them just because they were 'special' new members of the community thinking they added value when really they were only sucking it away. Look at the maturity of the poster when he didn't get what he wanted - pure 180 degree fud. Don't need it here.

Lol....you just proved my point.

Don't grow this into a flame-war guys. The bottom line is basically "if you've got nothing nice/helpful to add, stay away from the keyboard". Sledging newbies is completely unnecessary and no forum needs immoderators. If you don't want to explain things to newcomers then just ignore their posts.

+1, you think it would be common sense.

So, um, anyways wallet has worked fine for me from the start.  Tongue

What has not worked for me is that Coinking multipool site. Bad experience from the start. I tried signing up with no luck. I couldn't get it to accept a new account. I tried using their reset password link and never got an email. I tried using their support link and no one is responding after an hour or so. They suck. Undecided

One of their emails went to my spam folder.  Perhaps the reset email is there?  I haven't had any issues with them except port 2225 doesn't work for mining Cloak directly yet (last I checked).

Ok, that was the problem. Reset password was in the spam folder. I should have known better after other similar problems with other coins. I stand corrected and will give them a try when things are up and running. Thanks!

Actually we should address the issue rather than simply "let it go". WhiteLion is quite correct about both the hostile attitude on this forum and the wallet being critical as the user/investor interface.

I'm more a lurker than a poster but I humbly apologize to WhiteLion for the intemperate reception here.

We should be patient and above all, polite. If newcomers have not found the answer they seek then simply direct them to it or don't reply at all. If it helps try to remember that newbies are likely bringing more cash to the table.

*correct misspelling of WhiteLion's handle  Embarrassed

I'm just saying that I think from the past page of comments anyone who was on "high alert" at that specific point has looked back and seen any possible misstep (hopefully learning), there have been posts since his that could have been addressed in the same manner as this but weren't.  I simply believe that the horse is dead and there are no due apologies, (though I am sure they would be well received).

We're all invested financially.  That's why it gets a little tense sometimes.  Smiley

Have a look at that post.  At the bottom, there's essentially a "catch-all."  For all wallet issues, do those steps.  I don't blame you for not reading all pages.  By the time I had posted, wallet issues had come up so many times (and a bunch more times afterwards).  So yes, perhaps there is an issue that you raised - a wallet shouldn't really get into this state.  But...with all the other items going on, it's of lower priority.

I am an investor. I do not collect cryptcoins. I buy and sell them. I do not give a flying Yuck how cutesy or professional the logo may be. I do not care how much fud or hype there may be. All I care about are the basics and the prospect of making money. If there is any member here who thinks that is mercenary, then you really have no business even being on this forum.

As for basics, there is nothing more fundamental than the Wallet! It is the door to the castle. Not the logo, not the Op page, not any amount of of rah, rah, rah is going to overcome an investor's attitude about this coin more than if the wallet works properly. The Wallet IS the coin. So as far as priority, it should be working and NOT need explanations or work arounds to get it to function properly. It reflects badly on the coin when it will not even sync without the user having to get advice. And when the user does seek advice by coming to this forum, how is he or she treated...RUDELY!!!!

I intend to be a member of this forum for a good while to come. I will have to pay my dues by answering newbie questions for the 100th time. That what a forum family does when a newbie arrives. They invite them in, welcome them, and make them feel at home. Calling them lazy bums or other names... what good does that do?

The wallet is having more features added to it.  So, when I say it's of lower priority, I don't mean that the logo is of higher importance.  I mean, getting CloakSend (and CloakSend 2.0) integrated into the wallet first is far more important than fixing any sync issues that are easily resolved with a few troubleshooting steps.  It's great you brought up a bug report.  If I were a development team project manager, I would put it in the queue to be worked on - *after* all new features were completed.  There's no sense in debugging and fixing an issue if you're just going to re-break it by adding new features that are necessary.

I don't know if you're the only one who didn't receive a pool payout.  Perhaps you can post your address and hash rate and the amount of time you mined.  I'm sure the pool operator and/or TheDagger will look into it.  Did you check the block explorer?  Was anything sent to your address at all?  These are details that would be helpful to them.

Today a guy ask someting about the multipool payout, The info was not even 15 post away from his post....I can be mad about that. Even if the guy had 100.000k. Isrsly dont care if you not even trying to read the topic a few page.

But let it go ok, i will not answer anymore on post like that.

15 votes away from top 90!!

#91  - 1508

https://www.mintpal.com/voting

I'm financially invested also, which is why I am trying to maintain the momentum we have built up voting at mintpal.

Apologies to the larger font... I will do a maximum of 10 from now on.   Cry Cry Cry

I am so very glad I had not yet added you to the "ignore list". PLEASE (yes I am shouting!) do not give up on the cheer leading! We all need dedicated supporters to reach the goal of  advancing this crypto and hopefully making money. You encourage the troupes. I invest cash. We all have our parts to do.
