The total blocks kept jumping up and down which is very odd.
This would imply that one of the nodes is not right.
So I deleted my chain and now I have 23 and I should have 198 ish.
What the hell is going on !!
I had the same problem for like 4 hours.. blockchain jumping up and down
so I deleted all nodes except these 3 and worked fine afterwards
addnode=cloak.suprnova.cc
addnode=cloak.maxminers.net
addnode=cloak.blockexplorer.cc
Why are you adding pools as nodes? Only add what is in the OP! No wonder people have all these problems. They don't follow directions and there's 100 different comments with different nodes. Just get the one in the OP until you hear a dev tell you differently!
the OP nodes weren't working for me. so I started deleting one by one until it worked.
Okay, I'm sorry. The pool dns names were added recently to the OP. They weren't there yesterday when people were having issues with the forks. Personally, I've never had any issues with the original IP addresses only and it seems odd to me to add pools (who may have forked) to the node list. A few pages back there are several people who were fixed up while only using the IP address nodes (along with a couple commands). Sorry to scream - I hate seeing the same questions over and over again when it's almost always a matter of panic and not following a few directions.
