Cloudminr.io will never come back. I knew that this site was too good to be true. It's been week 4 and still no new site. A good thing I didn't invest any more BTC or I should have lost all my savings!

In the time being, I'm just going to stick with the most trusted BTC cloud mining services. Bit-x and Hashnest look very promising  Cheesy

Hack of cloud-based LastPass exposes hashed master passwords

This was from Jun 15th... If they got hacked once it could happen again.
Even when trying to download this in the past, my AV Eset smart security would flag it as  pup spyware.
I never did use this lastpass for that very reason (not clean) why take the chance, especially when I have the best AV suite in the world........ Cheesy

The post I took the quote from was posted on 15th of June from the LastPass's own website.

is it really safe to use last pass?
isnt it like using an online application to manage your password?
what if last pass account got hacked?  Grin

They use a good encryption, at least that is what I've heard.

Quote from: LastPass
LastPass never has access to your master password. We use encryption and hashing algorithms of the highest standard to protect user data. We hash both the username and master password on the user’s computer with 5,000 rounds of PBKDF2-SHA256, a password strengthening algorithm. That creates a key, on which we perform another round of hashing, to generate the master password authentication hash. That is sent to the LastPass server so that we can perform an authentication check as the user is logging in. We then take that value, and use a salt (a random string per user) and do another 100,000 rounds of hashing, and compare that to what is in our database. In layman’s terms: Cracking our algorithms is extremely difficult, even for the strongest of computers.

The passwords are encrypted and the hackers would need your master password to access them.

All those which we are telling are only words. The money are gone forever and the bastards which have stealed us are enjoying their richness. We are not the firsts and we are not the lasts. All those who tell to contact one or another because those are connected with the owners tells bullshit. No one can accuse someone because this guy has sold his account before the scammers goes away. And no one can find those. There were to many others that were fans of cloudminr.io. What must to do with them? To kill  because were naive....

The money were lost. May the stealer pass all their time in hospital spending their stolen money in medicine.

Just for the record - those sold usernames and passwords are being used again. Someone initiated password reset for my Bitcointalk account 2 days ago - I've stopped that in time. However, I did a stupid thing and had the same password on cloudminr and one other site, and they actually did a mess there (no further losses luckily), but I've managed to stop further actions.

So please all cloudminr customers CHANGE your passwords everywhere if you had the same pass there and on other sites...if it's not too late.

yeah, make sure to use lastpass or some other password manager for crap site like cloudminr. let is create a password and save it.

Well, I'm really wondering how naive some people can be.
Everybody is just sitting here, crying about their losses and not doing anything about it?
Why not contact P4ndoraBox7 who was claiming to have been in communication with "Adrian" while everybody else was complaining that "Adrian" and/or cloudminr.io didn't respond?`And why was Martial, err,  P4ndoraBox7, just selling his hash before cloudminr.io closed down? He can be found easily and I think he's got something to explain....

What about the Russian crackhead  "galdur" who seems a pro in defending scammers?

Just read through the whole thread and look at who's promoting the scam... then check what else they have promoted in the past... enlightening...

I must agree with your analysis. But look at this thread? Just count how many people who don't care about anyone's shit? They are just enjoying their refs money too. They don't give a shit that their referrals lost money. They came to defend every ponzi when it was still hot, then silent when it went down. Look at twitter, how many tweets are there to promote the refs ? Facebook too. Look overall, all people with the dollar sign in their eyes, all about greed. Well it's a sad state of current crypto Smiley.

The last-minute-sale from P4ndoraBox7 was indeed suspicious. And: He sold much more than just this before this. I was wondering that he's making so much money as a Wal-Mart employee to buy so many TH with cloudminr..... while he was saying that he's a noob. He even set up a homepage (http://www.cryptohashcenter.com) and in the whois-data, you can clearly see his real name and contact. If I'd lost money with this scam, I definitively would ask him about his communication with "Adrian"....

Despite all the greed of people, they should never forget that there are jurisdictions in this world in which the promotion of a Ponzi makes you part of the Ponzi, i.e. you can be convicted as part of the fraudster's network. Again: If I would have lost anything in this scam, I'd go after everybody who was promoting the scam with a signature campaign...

the website is down so no one is earning from any referral.
most replies you see here are just rants from victims saying that they should have, could have or would have...
