I think that this ColossusXT project is one of the few who have a chance to enter the top 20th crypto market. Good luck to the developers!

ColossusXT a year in review
It brings us great pride knowing that we have reached this milestone. This September marks one year since ColossusXT (COLX) was formed. With the birth of COLX we created a streamlined and efficient organization that leverages existing strengths and builds upon our past successes.

Over the last year, COLX has built new relationships while reinforcing our existing collaborations. We are focused on unifying and improving systems, tools, technologies, and processes — all aimed at building a stronger platform capable of better serving the evolving needs of our clients and the crypto community.

COLX is composed of talented people working in creative new ways to provide exceptional advances in blockchain technologies and service. To this end we have an aggressive roadmap for a community project, and we are happy to report that we have met most of our projected timelines.

so I was not following the forum for a while and just update my wallet. I noticed some of my Colx have been minted into  zCOLX and there is a setting for auto mint?

What is this?  Wallet shows a COLX and zCOLX balance along with a sum.

Should I mint zColx or just keep Colx?

Please refer to this for your question:

Nothing special, words, words and only words. Noone is trying to explain why this project is a little bit better, than any other. I am unable to find the answer too.

Hard to understand why you can’t find info to be honest, everything is well documented in the Colx website from whitepaper to mission statement and all: https://colossusxt.io

ColossusXT is an anonymous blockchain through obfuscation and recently implemented Zerocoin Protocol, along with utilization of I2P. These features will protect end user privacy as ColossusXT evolves into the Colossus Grid. The Colossus Grid will connect devices in a peer-to-peer network enabling users and applications to rent the cycles and storage of other users’ machines. This marketplace of computing power and storage will exclusively run on COLX currency. These resources will be used to complete tasks requiring any amount of computation time and capacity, or allow end users to store data anonymously across the COLX decentralized network. Today, such resources are supplied by entities such as centralized cloud providers which are constrained by closed networks, proprietary payment systems, and hard-coded provisioning operations. Any user ranging from a single PC owner to a large data center can share resources through Colossus Grid and get paid in COLX for their contributions. Renters of computing power or storage space, on the other hand, may do so at low prices compared to the usual market prices because they are only using resources that already exist.

What is the reason to increase stake from 324 to 480? Can't find the answer.

Sea saw mechanism is disabled by block 500.000 to make rewarding more balanced (sea saw mechanics was allowing system to update rewards based on masternode count; higher masternode count, lower masternode reward&higher staking reward and vice versa)
Block reward of 1200colx will be split 60% to masternodes, 40% to stakers from this point onwards.
It was mentioned in the Github 1.1.0 release notes

What did you mean on Staking rewards of the coin?
Is it scheduled rising staking rewards?

Buy The F*cking Dip
Hi guys

how can i tell what my weight is? and how long aprox till i stake? coin control matters and where to split at? Cheesy thanks
As per xquad's findings and examples, it doesn't matter whether you divide your stacks into smallers ones or whether you put it one big chunk of input. The ROI still kicks in accordingly. And also, based on the rewards that I received, I actually have a better chance of receiving them more frequently when I'm combining them in one big stack. So my advice is for you to do the same approach that I did.

Good luck on your staking journey with COLX. And please, don't sell right away all your rewards. Let it stack and earn more reward by compounding.  Wink

You can check the estimated reward frequency here:
https://calculator.colossusxt.io/
Staking reward is 480 colx.

Different inputs don’t effect the overall reward you will receive. Check a little bit above my example where I explained big stack, small stack and combined stack Wink

are the mining practices of this coin sustalinable some how? why is it called sustainable

Because it’s a PoS coin, mining not applied and therefore less energy consumption.

Basic example I prepared to show having different inputs would not change the rewards received when combined:

....

It easier to keep all the coins in 1 address to control it with prv key, instead of wallet.dat - this is why I prefer to use one address.

Thank you!
