Vision
Our vision is to create an ecosystem where people are able to sell their anonymous data and earn an incentive "tokens" for their data. From all the data collected, we are aiming to create the worlds biggest decentralized data base capable of creating one of the most advanced decentralized cloud based Ai platforms, which will be accessible by anybody and from anywhere. Ai will be democratized, and not be controlled by a single company. This will improve the lives of millions by assisting them in their daily tasks, ensuring that they have more time to spend on things they care about, while also paying them for their data.
Problems
1) The current biggest problem is that the data required to achieve true Ai / Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is substantial. No single company are able to collect sufficient data. True Ai required millions of data points from various sources or people. We aim to bridge this gap by creating the worlds biggest community of users (trainers) providing their data in order to facilitate the development of Ai.
2) It is predicted that 40% of all jobs will be lost to Ai by 2030. While this may hold true, we believe that Ai will allow people to work less, and spend more time on things and with people they care about. We believe that selling data is the first step to a universal salary, that requires no work.
3) Companies are actively collecting user data online and selling this data to companies. This puts users at risk of having their personal data land into the wrong hands. We want to give back control to users, and ensure their privacy through blockchain technology. All the data that users share are anonymous, private, encrypted and stored on the blockchain. This means that no data can be traced back to a specific user. We are thus protecting the user, while also paying them for their data.
4) The other problem with data, is that it isn't very useful on its own. Data needs to be structure, which can take a very long time to accomplish. You also need some of the worlds best data scientists for this task. We will source some of the best scientists from the global community, and pay them in DVA tokens for structuring the data. Eventually we will move on to quantum computing which will be able to do this more effectively.
How it works
User registers on our Decentralized Application (DApp) and a wallet gets allocated to the user. The application will be made available across multiple platforms for easy access.
The user is then provided with options on how much, and which types of data he/she wants to share. The more data the user shares, the more tokens he/she receives. Data that can be shared include Social Media Usage, App Usage, Browsing Interests, and Transaction Details.
Data is currently one of the worlds most valuable resources, and the demand for data will drastically increase the value of DVA tokens, which will also serve as a great investment. The fact that there is only a limited amount of tokens, ensures that the value increases.
Data collected will include:
- Social Media Usage - Social Network Preference (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), Pages Liked, Frequent Topic Searches
- Browsing Interests - Products / Services you are interested in, News Feeds you read regularly, Preferred Commerce Stores, Ads you click on
- Transactions - Methods of payment preferred, Average Online Spend
- Location - To establish correlations between various geographic regions.
Data will be used to create a visualization that would assist companies in delivering better and more suited products based on user interests and also to determine the best marketing channels.
We are partnering with Civic, Butter Browser and Cygnal, which will provide users with even more options to share data and earn Devia (DVA) Tokens.
