I'm starting to wonder if I am on the Ignored list by the COMMunity after feeding trolls a while ago Sad

COMM has potential, especially with these Gold Bars !

NEVER..you are one of the few intelligent people on this thread. So let me ask a question... I want to point my spiffy new asiac miner at Comm coin, can you please tell me how? Grin

If it's a Scrypt ASIC then Hashcows mate, Payouts in COMM Wink

we can fork and makes it X11 (I am pretty sure it would be possible...)

Sounds here like you don't care much for POS?

what exactly are the main problem of PoS ?

I keep reading since a few page that PoS is so bad.
Hey you knew for what you signed  Grin
During a full month everybody was writing that pos was so good, so green etc... and now PoS is bad (even though many have the sharecoin signature because they want another "bad" PoS coin...  Grin).
Actually in my message to get into comm coin, I must be the only one having said, that I was a little worried about how a full pos might work to secure its network so that transaction can be processed while nobody mining it.... anyhow

I'd like that someone expressed clearly all the problems of PoS rather than just vague statement such as "pure POS has a set of serious flaws that need adressing" or " addressing the main problem of PoS".

Who said POS was bad?. POS is great but it has flaws like any algorithm. Paranoid ??

MUST READ !!   Read REDD coins whitepaper for the new algorithm they are about to implement: http://www.reddcoin.com/papers/PoSV.pdf

It addresses the major concerns of the POS system.

Guy, here is COmm, not fuck REDD. you came in the wrong door. Undecided Undecided

I love you guys that read one page and have an opinion. You evidently have no idea what we have been discussing. So in your own wording... Guy, you is dumb fuck, not fucking READ,  take finger out your back door Grin

we can fork and makes it X11 (I am pretty sure it would be possible...)

Of course. Just tell me. Why?
X11 is a POW algo. Why should it be implemented in a POS system?

Pure POS has a set of serious flaws that need adressing. Migrating to X11 is utterly meaningless.

+1

x11 is not useable with PoS.

Anyone suggesting Hardfork may not fully understand the issues here.
sarcasm are not well understood either.  Roll Eyes
I think there is no interest in a hard fork especially for a problem which has already been solved (as I and others have already stated).
Furthermore I don't think a coin should be forked without any good reason (and clearly not to satisfy 2 or 3 insecure investors.)
I understand many coins had to forked recently to solve the potential time warp attack problem on kgw (which doesn't really concern comm coins) however hard forking should remain an exceptional measure.

That X11 suggestion was only a sarcasm brought by some comments...

I can't even sell anymore, if I sell my coins it would sent us back to the 40's  Lips sealed

Spekk, do you know that you are creating a panic sell without reason? Do you know that every thing that we post here has an impact on the market? Please, think about that. I think that trading need attitude  Undecided

I don't thinkt that the people that are dumping right now will read this forum. Probably just day traders and miners looking for quick money and take any price they can get. Impatience f**kers. I allready lost 25% of my investment not willing to lose much more because of them. Will be gone this evening when I get home I hope to see some good news or else I'm out.

Welcome to cryptoworld! If you want more fair trading, go to Forex, where you have to follow economic and geopolitical news. There also is limited the spread you are buying-selling at. This is free market, where even worst nightmares are possible. COMM is still strong, manipulators are trying to get more cheap coins with small sell orders coming through. Only the weak hands are following and selling.

My hands are shaking right now, I've invested all my college money in this...

You will sell out at the lows. Still a long way to go yet, but only after the weak hands have sold can the price really start to rise.

A community without tech skills is useless. The core and backbone of a coin is the dev team and their development.
Don't you all agree?

Agree entirely.

Arguments about early distribution are meaningless. The main Distribution is going on right now, on the exchanges..

COMM is alive, better than most alts... also very young. Don't be impatient.

This looks great to me! Something new and also a fix for the 200M.

I want to add that I am not worried about those 200M but it seems that there still are a lot of people who are. I have seen that this problem is still mentioned in other threads when people are talking about COMM.

IMO it would be a big mistake to have a hard fork, especially over these two issues.

The 200m is a non-issue, I have advised before that it does not affect the long term viability at all.

The cold store minting is unproven, and will call into question the security of the coin. All Cryptocurrency has the single Private Key at the heart of it's security. I have found that the concept of trust is one of the biggest issues for the general public. Add to that the fact that experienced users of coldstore only do that because they are very concerned with security. I predict that they will be reluctant to use coldstore minting.

Just my 2c.

This coin is dead, no activity going on on the exchanges nobody is buying anymore price dropped to 69.
I think i whas wrong with this coin, will take that buy wall at 67 if nothing happens soon...

the problem is still one

those damn 200M, no one will buy until those 200M will die once and for all

Stop throwing this shit, 200M coins were blocked forever.

you could bring them back with a client upgrade, only hard fork can ensure that they will never be used

Just to clarify, it is not enough someone change the code and start running the new wallet... Most of the network has to use this new wallet. Besides of this, the wallet is supposed to be lost and if this is true no wallet change would bring those coins back. The fix was only a measure to guarantee if this is not true those coins wouldn't be dumped on any exchange.

Adriano
Adriano Thx for clarify, this matter should be closed, Let's focus on real COMM projects. I think Op is not clear enough so people keep coming over with same things again and again.

I need a COMMunicator who will close contact with me about community needs and future projects. So you can fix or add, remove anything on OP.

To the dev: Can you give us some more technical clarification about the wallet fix? It is indeed not clear whether the fix is permanent or temporary. You may consider it closed but the INVESTORS might not because they do not know for sure whether the wallet is lost or not.
On what REAL comm projects do you want to focus on if there are none?
Also how many communicators do you need? You have already 3 right now  Grin
Thanks for the cash by the way, but I don't think this coin has a perspective.
