I'm not usually one to side with trolls, and find their mindset of constantly repeating the same things over and over, typically in bright red letters, extremely annoying, but they are right about one thing -- the missing coin issue needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.
Get it dealt with before getting on any new exchanges, especially MintPal. Although getting on other exchanges typically can be viewed as a good thing, especially one of the big boys (Cryptsy/MintPal), unless there is demand for the coin, there is an equal chance that getting listed will just destroy the price.
I am not sure if the proposed fix is permanent or temporary, but whatever is done, make it a priority. Harddrive recovery would seem to make the most sense, unless the HD is totally trashed. Of course that assumes everyone is on the level here (which as always, is a big assumption).
Personally I find the missing coin thing rather bizarre. As if we go with the skeptical mindset and say it's a scam, it still doesn't make sense. There are many other, and better ways, of running a scam with premines than announce that coins have gone missing from a bad HD. It's an albatross around the coin's neck, and keeps the coin from reaching its optimal price. I won't go into better ways to run a scam, but I have only been into crypto for like only 3 months, and even I can figure out better ways... hence why if it is a scam, it's an extremely lazy and hardly optimal way to do it.
If on the level, there should be ways to fix things. Get another dev on board if necessary and have them look into it. Once that is taken care of, then worry about MintPal, websites, and other coin stuff.
bri9126 e scam exposer are the same person. we have problem to fix, surely you are not the person that can remind it
two kisses for you
I noticed someone always changes the subject when I propose using a data recovery company to extract the data from the broken hard drive.
poornamelessme proposes the same solution, and other members have too.
No, I am not scam_exposer, but we have problem to fix and I think a data recovery company could fix it in a few days.
A coin swap would take weeks and require cooperation from exchanges. A code fix did not work for eTokens according to this post.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-etokenimportant-announcement-etoken-436750To scam_exposer I say you made your point, but please stop posting in this thread. You were posting every 4 to 5 minutes for over 8 hours the other day. That must take a lot of effort!
I'm not done. These guys are going to be exposed. It's apparent what's going on. They don't need to take your money. They needed you to get the value of the coin up so they could sell all the coins they sent to their fake accounts. They keep changing their tactics but i'm an to them.
