Thanks so much everyone

I presume that these disconnects will stop by tomorrow, this is a lot of fun (more fun then mining BTC's for sure!)

So when it says "unconfirmed" does that mean the server needs to doublecheck the hashcodes for the blocks?

How long will it take for me to confirm so I can withdraw them?

Once again, thanks for the help everyone! Currently at 4000 unconfirmed lol

You have to wait 120 blocks, target is 60 seconds a block, but as network grows we're crunching them faster, that's why difficulty retarget higher every time.

Ahhh ok ok this makes a lot of sense

Thank you! I hope this currency flies, it would be nice to have a couple extra dollas lol

The DB Instance is overloaded due to a sudden rise in hashrate. I am upgrading the DB instance. Sorry for this Sad

We are the ones we've been waiting for
It's what miners do.
They work on "blocks" to confirm the operations.
btw, the pool is down again...

another noob question (Thanks so much everyone for helping me out! Feel free to put your corgi wallet so i can donate some coins)

When it comes to pools, what "stats" should I focus on? Does it not matter or can I get more "shares" from a smaller pool?

Thanks again everyone, this community is awesome!

Bigger pools = you receive less coin a block, but you receive them faster
Smaller pools= you receive more coin a block, but you receive them slowlier

on average it's the same thing.

If difficulty of a coin is very low the size of the pool may influence rewards. Not Corgi case..

Right now it doesn't really matter at all, but in general:

Bigger pools (with tons of workers) will find blocks faster but you'll have to share those blocks with [thousands of] other workers. Tiny pools with less workers won't find blocks nearly as fast, but if/when they find one, you get more of a reward because you don't have to share it with as many people.

So personally I think it's best to find a sweet spot in between... one with a high hash rate but low-ish number of miners. But again there are only like 3-4 pools right now so pick whichever you want! Smiley

Strut on!
