I am using a Ryzen 1600, getting around 450 h/sec. Using 12 threads. The CPU temp stays at around 50 deg.
So is it ok ? or can I get more performance, I am using minerd miner.

Are you only have one memory bank?
If yes,you should add one more memory bank to make dual channel memory.

Not waste of time if you mine yenten to get yenten and hold those yenten for a future use in few month or years.
Else i think it can be a waste of time if you mine yenten to get btc/cash as soon as possible with a single core.
