difficult is now higher? my reward is more than halved  Embarrassed

Yes more miners and a whale on miso pool. I have 2 servers which cost me 70 euro each month and i get a profit with sell price of 800 sat of 90 - 110 euro.
So just keep on mining. This morning there was a massive buy on the exhange. Soon we will go to coinmarketgap and then the whales will come and it will be over for us :-).

Hi guys
Could anyone help me with mining it under MacOS?
I tried building it with Mac Ports, apparently, it did build, but with several warnings. I used 1.1.0 version of source code from their repository.
I even tried running it with Noah, but no go
Compiler warnings aren't necessarily errors.  Wink
Did you build the wallet or the miner?
Edit: You built the wallet ofcourse. Does it run or not?

I've built the miner and also a wallet, but I couldn't run it (the wallet), have no idea how to use it via terminal and what file to actually run.
During compile it says "too much arguments" in genbuild.sh, but don't stop. I used sources provided for 1.2.
If I use the sources directly from the repo, it goes like this:
Code:
Making all in src
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/usr/bin/make  all-recursive
Making all in .
usage: git rev-list [OPTION] ... [ -- paths... ]
  limiting output:
    --max-count=
    --max-age=
    --min-age=
    --sparse
    --no-merges
    --min-parents=
    --no-min-parents
    --max-parents=
    --no-max-parents
    --remove-empty
    --all
    --branches
    --tags
    --remotes
    --stdin
    --quiet
  ordering output:
    --topo-order
    --date-order
    --reverse
  formatting output:
    --parents
    --children
    --objects | --objects-edge
    --unpacked
    --header | --pretty
    --abbrev= | --no-abbrev
    --abbrev-commit
    --left-right
    --count
  special purpose:
    --bisect
    --bisect-vars
    --bisect-all
make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'.
Build end with the same line with 1.2.1 sources and I can't see any new binary.
If it correctly built, there should be a file "yentend" in the src directory ("minerd" for the miner), just run that with ./yentend and it should start.
Building the QT-wallet with gui is a bit more complicated. This guide for Dogecoin could be helpful:
https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/blob/master/doc/build-osx.md
I don't know much about MacOS so can't help much. Any MacOS dev here willing to provide binaries for the masses?  Grin

Google translate gave me:
I am Teru Nakamoto. And yes, I created Yenten. That is my favorite work.
That's fantastic. I want to believe. Cheesy

Where does the japanese community meet and talk btw?

this is the best japanese discussion that i have found: https://fate.5ch.net/test/read.cgi/cryptocoin/1509219649/?v=pc

But it’s a lot of talk about whether or not it is a chinese scam, and which pool to use etc.

Have you found the Yellow Sign?
I think I found a little easter egg on the yenten wallet loading screen; perhaps satoshi started crypto development in the 90's?  Satoshi are you here? Smiley

"easter egg" confirmed.

Either it is Nakamoto, it's an elaborate hoax (unlikely), or it's 4chan/anon crew (who may have been the original bitcoin devs anyway).

I think it is Satoshi and Wei Dai.  Wei worked with satoshi closely and also developed the precursor to bitcoin in the 90's.

b-money

In 1998, Dai helped to spark interest in cryptocurrencies[10] with the publication of "b-money, an anonymous, distributed electronic cash system". In the paper, Dai outlines the basic properties of all modern day cryptocurrency systems: "...a scheme for a group of untraceable digital pseudonyms to pay each other with money and to enforce contracts amongst themselves without outside help".[11]

I was talking about the possibility and checking ir.hn's thorough detective work at about the same time this was randomly posted in the coinsmarkets troll box. Even if it isn't Nakamoto and company, they sure know exactly which combination of bits and pieces of modern crypto technology would make a good v2. Like I said, it's either them or some 4chan trolls, but whoever it was did a fine job on choice of algorithm and the economics of the coin. And even if it's 4chan/anon, it's not like it's particularly different than the first time around.

They do have a Japanese room on the discord server.
