Glad to see another CPU coin.  Fun stuff for us nerds on the computer.  Good luck with this project and I hope we see 1 yen < 1 yenten very soon!

It traded at about 6 yen a few days ago, It's way ahead of schedule!
Actually what I thind the Dev's mean with 1 yen < 1 yenten is 1Yenten=10Yen

Hello ever yone,

I did a lot of optimization on stratum servers and notifyblock in order to reduce bad share and disconnection.

Please keep me updated if you encounter anymore disconnection starting now.

I'll work now on setting up github and share my dev in order for other pool to implement yescryptR16. I have first to modify things because it broke yescrypt (standard one) compatibility with yiimp.

You're all welcome to share your feedback and try to debug your situation on my discord (www.bilbotel.fr at the bottom of the landing page).

Happy mining Smiley

Guys, tell me, please, it turns out, there is no idea. Coin for miners from miners? Especially on the CPU. It seems to me that the faster the thermal paste will dry up than the processor will earn extra money.

Just mining for fun while you working in computer. no need to max out the thread, i only use 1 as not different as some program working in the background. If you lucky like i do, i mine 200 YTN for 2 days, and i call it lucky as many people in this thread complaining

minerd.exe -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234 -u YTYwDya2Rhn9SiaMyFmYvkCCiL45wFhZ3E -p c=YTN,stats
I think something went wrong...

I dont think the ",stats" part is correct, poll asks only for c=YTN.
Apart from this, i receive the same message, but my h/s as reported by bilbotel.fr is pretty high, and i'm receiving YTN.

Difficulty is down now, you may have better luck going solo with your setup.

how many tokens in total are you issuing?
Did you bother to read the ANN?
Total YTN:  84,000,000 YTN
This is a POW coin.  Coins are mined.  There are no tokens issued.
What is the amount of premine coin and the reserve fund for development?

this a joke, right? it’s like you scrolled through the ANN just to make the “yes i read it” button light up.

Nice the dude who took over 70% of the hashrate is gone!  I have an idea in the future on a cpu coin limiting the max hashrate of the network.  Does a network even really need over say 200khash to work? We could make a coin that stops giving rewards if the hashrate gets over 200khash.  Small independent miners who are spending pennies a day mining in electricity would be able to keep mining wheras big assholes and pools wouldn't be able to survive mining it...power to the little people.

I think that was a botnet as it was showing around 2000 miners and now it's just 200 so definitely it was botnet

Yup you are to the point. It really feels bad when you have little hash and people come with contract like nicehash and make sure to create hell for small miners.

It wasn't a botnet and it wasn't 2000 miners, it was 1000 ( they were mine).  The pool just disconnects them so often that it gets the count wrong.  I also crashed the pool frequently with only 1000 machines, which is pretty bad.  If the author wants to make his source public, I'll host an additional pool myself to take load away (I host other pools)

Maye you should mine a coin that you won't crash to zero by trying to sell one days worth of blocks.  Your wasting your time here.

One days worth of coins is currently 18.9% of total supply because, you know, the coin has been around for like 5 days. So your argument is what exactly? wait a few months before mining?

I’m sure similar advice was floated in the early days of other coins. I’m sure 1,800 btc is too much per day right now too.

I'm with you, the coin doesn't exactly have a reputable person behind it but it can't hurt to mine a few blocks early on and hodl for a while. Plus, I've gotten attached to this coin since I started mining from the very beginning of its release.
