1.The developer got tired.
2.The developer's PC crashes. Can not login to Bitcoin Forum.
3.Conan is repairing the car by myself.

Developers will come back if the community is excited.

YesPoWer algo may give us some hashrate gain:)

wo01, one of Koto dev in Japan, released the cpuminer v2.5 for Koto with yespower algorithm:
https://github.com/KotoDevelopers/cpuminer-yescrypt/releases/tag/v2.5
I don't know technical details, but it looks yespower has yespower-0.5(i.e. yescrypt-0.5 compatible mode),
and we can mine yescrypt-family coins with yespower-0.5 algorithm.

wo01 says that modification of his source, like
 .pers = ”Client Key”,
 .perslen = 10
gives availability for BitZeny mining in his twitter:
https://twitter.com/WO01_/status/1020648022760337408

So, I tried further modification for yescryptR16, like
 .N = 4096
 .r = 16
and suceeded in Yenten mining!

In my tests, yespowerR16 gives ~3% hashrate gain for Xeon E5-2690v2(=IvyBridge) ubuntu system.
Unfortunately, apparent difference was not observed on Ryzen and Ryzen2 system.

I also tried bubasik's cpuminer v3.8.8.3
https://github.com/bubasik/cpuminer-opt-yespower/releases/tag/v3.8.8.3
with his yespowerr16 modification seen the bottom of the thread below:
https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt/pull/155
and got similar hashrate gain for Xeon E5-2690v2 system.
My tweet:
https://twitter.com/ohashi3d/status/1020855651868672000

...don't ask me technical details, but enjoy at your own risk Wink

Dev should hardfork Yenten himself + donation mode included so he could get real tools. It would been more than +3% gain, esp at start while botnets are knocked out.

I dont know how serious he is, but I still think YTN is a good coin with potential. Sadly this gpu mining chokes YTN.

As a wise man known as Kenny Rogers once said "You never count your money when you're sitting at the table".
I'm joking, but not really. A lot of relevant advice in that song.. "Know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run"
For now it seems early to run from yenten.

God hear you friend, by the way know of some good minable coin by CPU?

CPU-POOL - pool for mining on cpu coins

http://cpu-pool.com/ - convenient, without registration, for weak and powerful processors, adaptive complexity of hashes (diff 0.1-0.5)

NEWS: a convenient comparison of the profit at 1000 h/s - in dollars per day.

Sample command for mining Yenten:

Code:
cpuminer -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://cpu-pool.com:63368 -u WALLET_ADDRESS

Where to get the wallet?

Download the wallet Yenten by the address - https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/releases

What program do you mine?

1) For windows, download the cpu miner archive - https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt/releases and unpack

2) For a file cpuminer-aes-sse42.exe create a bat file with the following content and run it:

Code:
cpuminer-aes-sse42.exe -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://cpu-pool.com:63368 -u WALLET_ADDRESS
pause

Written on 5channels in Japan.
I would like to register Yenten, but I do not have any knowledge to register.
Please register with those with knowledge.

How about registering Yenten too?
I think whether the pronunciation is close to 810(eight ten)
810 | --omit-- | YTN | [Yenten](https://conan-equal-newone.github.io/yenten/)

Why is not listed the best pool of YENTEN on pool list at the first post?

Please, list xpoolx.com , the best yenten mining pool.

How to mine this?
The best way to mine is with CPU. Not sure if that is what you're asking or you want to know step by step how to mine.
The YescryptR16 algorithm is good news for the CPU, but how to prevent the botnet algorithm from invading

For now it's not that profitable to direct botnet to mine this coin. Hackers will rather go for XMR or monero-based coins that has higher profitability and liquidity.

Happy mining YTN and hodl. (I earn 50 coins a day by just directing all my crappy ivy bridge dual core CPUs from my 12 mining rigs)
