-fucking addnodes don't connect although it's been released 2 days before being posted on this forum
-regional premine
-pretends to use a new algorithm while it's a copy of a copy

Does it matter what we use at rpcuser and rpcpassword?
no, can be anything.

I am using the two nodes mentioned in OP and still getting 'No block source available'.
I figured here is a better blocksource:

addnode=92.73.213.186
addnode=192.241.186.105

Thanks. Working now.

You have to be patient, you will find some blocks soon.
I find lots of blocks due to not getting any blocks downloaded from the two nodes OP posted...
Could have been nice if OP had not lied about the origin and algo of the coin but meh, back to QRK.  Tongue
No, Quarkcoin has been checkpointed.
Ofcourse, I'm such a noob.  Grin

That's quite the fail then.  Roll Eyes
edit: If the hashrate of this coin grew close to 51% of Quarkcoin, could the blockchain take over?

No, Quarkcoin has been checkpointed.

Am I doing something wrong?
No, you are doing it totally correct.

Noob here, but how do you mine with the qt in win? I created the .conf file and placed it appdata\cpucoin folder and finally, the qt client connected. My cpu is now staying at 100% but I see no results Smiley Am I doing something wrong?

Quark developer
Sifcoin: chain in sha-3 candidate-finalis-win function Blake=>BMW=>Groestl=>JH=>Keccak=>Skein
Quarkcoin: 9 rounds of hashing from 6 hashing functions (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein)
CPU-Coin: whirlpool based https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whirlpool_%28cryptography%29 (at least that's what the OP claims, wiki says nothing of the above hash functions)

Maybe someone can clear up if Quarkcoin is a direct clone of Sifcoin or had some changes in the algorithm, if CPU-Coin's algo is Whirlpool and if they are all the same or not...

If someone could post some nodes, that would be great too as I only have 1 connection and no blocks.

edit @ post below: lol

If you look at hashblock.h and main.h in CPUcoin's source you'll find it uses the same Hash9 function used in Quark. No sign of Whirlpool.
