When do we expect testnet 3.0 and will there be some Dev's journal with improvements and so on? I've heard it should have been released on this week and now it's weekend so I assume next week?  I wanna play with it

Credits will release it today or tomorrow. I hope there will be developer's journal

I watched the Ivan on tech's video about credits today. The interview was very informative and clears the doubts that they are not using outdated and vulnerable md5 hashing function anymore. Looking forward to the testnet 3.0.

Yeah, got myself a bit overexcited on Friday and well... didn't get anything, but that's fine, it's even better this way, maybe they found some bug or whatever, I can wait a bit more to play around with state-of-the-art tech!

Recently I have talked with one doctor from US, he was very interested in blockchain solution. How do you feel is this sphere ready for this sort of innovation?

I would say that medicine sphere is one of the most ready

Why?

The HealthIT analytics website published a study of more than 80 medical institutions and major companies from the equipment and consumable supplies sector. The analysts have found that 17% of them are using the IoT, almost 30% are working on the integration of technologies, while 53% of respondents had no specific policies on integration but are willing to cooperate and introduce this practice in the future. The statistics are clear: medical companies are interested in working with new technologies and are ready to cooperate with blockchain projects to develop new solutions for the industry.

Are there any significant developments in this area?

Bracelets with NFC chips for emergency assistance to wounded soldiers.
Shoes with sensors designed to eliminate foot pain without medical intervention and warn of excessive foot pressure.
A plaster that warns patients about an imminent epileptic seizure.
Drones for speedy transportation of blood and medical supplies.
A robotic surgical system for operations.

This stuff is good, but I sort of doubt the thing about drones for delivery and robotic surgical system (if I get it right what it should do, ofc).  Drones will have to be operated either manually or by a very good AI. And so far as far as I know AI thing hasn't been very successful. I can be wrong, but IMO development of an good AI for that could take pretty long time.

Agree, AI could become an obstacle for this idea implementation, but I think people will manage somehow and create an AI from a scratch specially for Drones or adjust existing ones, neural networks can do miracles sometimes. But other cases looks quite nice to me and pretty tangible to implement them in one way or another.

Just imagine that you can make it unpaper, this would be real digital revolution

Here is the solutions that Credits team can offer:

The key distinctive characteristics of CREDITS are advanced smart contracts with a schedule and cycle programming option; the highest possible transaction speeds of up to 1 million per second and processing speeds of at least 0.01 of a second per transaction; low transaction fees, which can be as low as $0.001; 90% data compression ratio for saving disk space at nodes.

All members of the chain will be connected to the decentralized logistics app. Customs, carriers — everyone will become blockchain nodes with varying levels of data access. Everybody will be using gadgets with a preinstalled public key for information viewing. A private key will enable participants to make their own entry in the ledger or close a transaction using a digital signature.

That's great but it takes years, my idea with messenger is much better

Just look at this sheme posted above

Has the Hackathon started yet?

Hackathon Schedule
- 1 step - registration. Deadline - 00:00 UTC, December, 9. Direct link for registration.
- 2 step - concept creation. Deadline - 00:00 UTC, December, 9.
- 3 step - development process. Deadline - 00:00 UTC,December, 30.
- 4 step - presentation. Deadline - 00:00 UTC, January, 6, 2019

Thank you for information. Are you participating in hackathon?

I will take part for sure

Me too. but I cannot choose between messenger and application for medicine..

To my mind the logistics sector is much more promising

It is too difficult for application and I m not sure that it needs blockchain at all

Major bottlenecks in logistics:

Information about freight movements goes through the supply chain elements with a delay. Possible implications include planning and forecasting constraints; delayed payment for delivered product or overproduction under a canceled contract. Isolation of internal accounting systems. For stock levels in the supply chain to be clarified, all of its elements should update the details concerning the same element in their respective systems. All payments among the chain participants go through the bank with all that entails: high fees, extra time to settle and clear money transfers. Low product traceability can possibly result in counterfeit or infected meat being found in a batch. High costs associated with hard-copy paperwork.
