Are you done with the update?

Right now the site is working for me with Firefox and Opera.
With Chrome and Vivaldi I only see a blank site (I can see the site loading but then it gets blank).
Maybe something went wrong with the update.

Extremely cool, took a little afternoon nap, coming back and my suggestion is in place, even perfectly working as I imagined it.
This is soooooooooooooooooo much better, I love it.
Thank you very much for listening to me.

As a little hint aside, just in case other faucet owners are reading here: I wish other faucets would do the same.

Edit: Not so nice is that almost the whole list is red for me from start, where the only two shortlinks remaing blue don't work.
Clicksfly, the only shortlink allowing 5 accesses is stuck in loading the captcha, therefore useless.
LinkShrink, the only shortlink allowing more than 5 accesses has a faulty popup or popunder which fails reloading the original page, meaning you end up on an ad page from where there is no way back to the origin of the shortlink.

In short: Throughout the entire list of shortlinks, there's not a single one I can use right now.
Which leaves the questions:
How often are these shortlink counters reset and can be used again?
Why are the shortlinks without counter, like btc.ms shown in red?

Yes it is cuz it's like you withdraw and then get hpower with the coins withdrawn. If I reduce the earnings to avoid the 1.5% fees, then so users who get hpower with their coins will have 1.5% less, and it's not possible.

And what prevents you from increasing the exchange rate from coins to hpower by 1.5% instead of charging a 1.5% fee on withdrawals?
Wouldn't it be the exact same result, only that you don't give coins that you later on take back in withdrawal fees?

It's a simple psychological factor, works in the economy, in politics, everywhere.
If you give someone something and you take part of it back later, people don't like that.
If you give less to begin with nobody minds, because in this case it's clear from start how much you get and it's the users choice whether he wants to make the efford of getting it.
I think, honestly, that you have a pretty way of thinking Wink

That's because you can also withdraw to hpower with no fees.

That's not a withdraw, but an exchange.

What happened now?
Something got messed up.

I click the "Mine" button and I get a message on top of the window saying: "You have to click the "MINE" button to start mining!"

Ermmmmmm, that's what I'm doing.

Edit: Working again now, but that was weird.

There are limits, not for a max, but for the minimum.
400,000 Litoshi
50,000 Satoshi
100 Doge
and from that they deduce 1.5% fee, which is identical to letting you claim/mine 1.5% less in the first place.

Only at first giving the coins and then take part of them back in fees is more annoying to users, which is why I would suggest changing that.

The shortlink choice is a pretty good idea Wink

Well, THIS is the point I got to with loads and loads of other websites, including many faucets.
They have some kind of problem, I suggest a solution, they say they like it ............. and then nothing happens.
I know several dozen websites, not only faucets, that do not exist anymore, because they didn't solve a problem for which I had suggested the solution.

Would be a refreshing experience if you would actually implement it.
When I say it will be done it will. I really think its a good idea as shortlink are often down and it will be great To be able the user to chose so Wink
Have a nice afternoon

The link problem is that we are dependant on these services and it's hard to find one that always work, in addition of the well known recaptcha problem.

Not sure how much you're in for a bit of progamming work, but I'm a coder myself, also I have a load of experience with captchas from 100 faucets as a user and I can tell you what I would do if I were in your place.
Simply leave the choice to the user.

The problem is actually best shown with the example of btc.ms, because btc.ms has an extremely high difficulty setting for reCaptcha, with these incredibly slow or delayed loading images, meaning the time it takes solving a captcha isn't worth the value you're getting from that.
That's why I rarely ever refill energy through your shortlink, I just wait until energy has filled by itself.
So even if it is working, you're not getting the revenue you need from it.
I guess this cannot be in your interest.

Other shortlinks have other problems, often enough different from one user to the other and then most of them are frequently down.

So here is the solution:
Whenever a user clicks "refill energy" or "I'm not a bot", instead of automatically choosing for him which shortlink he has to use, give them a list of all the shortlink services you are subscribed to and have the user click on the shortlink he wishes to use.
This way you don't have to fix anything on your site when a shortlink goes down and hardly any user will have a problem.

Done. Sorry for the inconvenience ans have a nice night!

Seen that and thanks ................... but ..................... now one of the links (LinkShrink) says: "Link does not exist."

Anyway, I noticed it switches now, so upon 2nd  or 3rd attempt one gets to a working one.
Not really nice, but at least better than completely down.

In fact, it's always switching depending on the shortener services.
Per 24h, it's 2 MellowAds, 2 Zapin, 2 Cut-urls and the other ones are for BTC.ms or any other.
The link problem is that we are dependant on these services and it's hard to find one that always work, in addition of the well known recaptcha problem.
Anyway, have fun playing Crypto Mining Game!
Best regards
