While blockchain education would be cool as free content I hope it will not be the only one. Actually I would love to see school education too, to help children here, which maybe can't pay for good education or after class teachers to get better grades. That would really be amazing.

There are already many educational projects/platform, I think it will be better to make a partnership with 1 of them and then cryptoflix can focus on movies.

I agree, fiat integration this is not bad idea, since many who watch TV don't know all the intricacies in the crypto world yet - or at least will be need the presence of detailed manuals how to buy this tokens.

If people will be able buy tokens for fiat on cryptoflix platform, that's already an exchange and I believe they are more regulated, like you would need KYC and stuff. Don't think it's worth it. Maybe if you will be able to pay with fiat as well, but not exchange it for crypto and the other way round.

Until a proper crypto policy comes along payment through fiat will still be difficult because banks right now are penalizing crypto purchase. It is possible though. Cryptoflix can partner with exchanges like changelly who will be able to convert fiat to their listed tokens (fllix in this case) in a single transaction. Or the project can operate like traditional businesses by setting shops in countries of strategic importance operating a hybrid business of crypto and fiat for fees.

Their platform isn't not yet available, so no users and ratings yet.

I think that until at least a beta is available it doesn't has too much sens to rating it because it would be pure speculation.

I do not know particularly about the classifications made by Coingecko, but apparently they have not been biased in them, Cryptoflix is a project that arouses interest in evaluation platforms that conspires to monetize its services, but they seem fair to me so far.

One of the reasons why there is not much blockchain educational material is that at its core, blockchain technology is quite simple and can be explained to a five-year-old. Of course if someone wants to learn about the details (in particular the coding and algorithms) there is much to learn, but for the average person the fundamental principles is all that matters.

But CryptoFlix has settled on ad-free free movies.

Maybe they could implement the code from Oyster protocol on their website. So that they can create revenue without the needs of ads.

That could be a good idea, but I think the DEVs already have a solution and a good business plan with regards to revenue matters.

I think they aim at first for developing countries where people don't have much money. I think it's important for them to be as cheap as possible.

a subscription service would be better, without commercials. people are put off by them

I don't know how hard it would be to implement both of these businesses models on cryptfilx platform but this could help to gather loyal customers base

It depends on what is good quality for you. Free content usually has a bit lower quality, since plagiarism is a crime. We'll see how cryptoflix will deal with it. As far as I understand, they plan to introduce educational content later, after the main platform will be ready, right?

Apparently, their primary goal is video content. Of course it may contain some educational materials, but first of all they have to attract audience. This can easily be done with entertaining, not educational materials.

Students (and even non-students) will appreciate high quality educational video content. Right now the only source for those is youtube and you don't even find what you're searching for most of the time

There are educational subscriptions sites like udemy and other services. Full course and training

Educational videos would be a nice addition. There is still no plattform with both on it.I'm not that much into theoretical learning but if I had the access to such videos on hand - sure why not have a training lesson inbetween.

I do not know if educational videos are needed ... In my opinion, now it is much more profitable to produce and show serials. For example, Netflix does this very successfully.

Its not the most important, yes, but later it will be very good, especially for technical or crypto stuff.

Crypto explanations will be highly needed in the future. There are so many people out there which don't know anything about it.
