The contribution to the 1000 xcn thank ^ ^
Too bad. Often happens, reboot.

DJM34 : Thank you very much.
Fix a reboot symptoms getda give more thanks.

yeah i know, i like compact things Grin, you idea is good, i'll consider it, two 140 fan should be enough

it should be plenty. And if you have one, put a fan controller on it, their pretty small, and control the speeds to what you need and what's quiet Smiley
Shouldn't cause much more space to be used

my new card is arrived, it smells of freshness lol, i noticed that some tin is liquefied around that area for all the other cards(minus the last one)

these 750ti are really fragile, they can't sustain a temperature between 70 and 80 24/7

Not sure why you are putting the cards so close to each other when you actually have place on the right and left.

ouch those cards are close.
I would honestly contemplate adding in a fan or 2 on the back where the power cables go in

My mining card set up is definetly the tidiest lmao.
And as for hitting 1400, some cards overclock better then others. Others are using higher TDP bios's aswell

same thing i can't go beyond 1340(which is the default in my case), on some cards you can't surpass 1250 core, you need to rise the the power limit with a bios flash

i would say the 2cm is the issue, i have over 5cm between my cards, and here are my temps from no card infront, to 2 cards infront

40'c

45'c

55'c
My first GPU infront from 5 runs 10ºC less than others average. Around 5 cm space between each.

I rarely have any that run at 40, but 45-65 is pretty normal for me.  The EVGA FTW cards are the closest together because of their size, but the 1st is 43c while the rest are 54-63c.  I did put a fan on top of the last 3 to cut down on some of the extra heat they put out, not sure what it would get up to without it...  (I may try to space them out more now that I looked at the temps closer, but the usb cables for risers are kind of short)

The non-Ti 750's surprisingly run pretty hot while mining though, from 49c on the first to 60c on the last 2 with a big fan blowing at them.

The Gigabyte 750Ti's also run about 45-60c, but they seem to do that more consistently thanks to the heatpipe(which always feels super hot).  If I take the fan away from the 2 rigs, the 750ti's don't increase much, but the 750s go up by 4-7c I think.

Still not sure how some of you are reaching 1400 core clocks and 6000 memory.  I've fed them tons of air and kept them cool, but for the most part, 1250-1275 seems to be the limit unless we're talking about the EVGA FTW cards, which will get to 1340 or so after boost clocks I think. Anything more and I usually get a couple cards dropping out or the miner goes nuts.  I have not messed around with upping the TDP though.

anybody using both 780 ti and 750 ti ? What are the hashrate on both of them for the same algo ? How many 750 ti is equivalent to 1 x 780 ti ?

Code:
algo 750 Ti 780 Ti ratio
x11 2.6 5.5 2.1
x13 1.9 4.0 2.1
x14 2.0 4.0 2.0
x15 1.8 3.7 2.1
x17 1.6 3.6 2.3
jpc 5.4 11.6 2.1
qubit 4.1 8.9 2.2
nist5 8.0 16.3 2.0
fresh 3.2 7.2 2.3
groestl 7.4 14.5 2.0
myr-gr 12.3 24.0 2.0
quark 4.5 9.3 2.1
whirl 4.5 14.0 3.1
keccak 106.0 212.0 2.0
luffa 80.0 142.0 1.8
Cnight 280.0 560.0 2.0
Cnite 4.2 11.3 2.7

This is pretty dated and not very accurate but this was the easiest to copypaste and should give you an idea. But if you consider power consumption, the 780 Ti's are terrible.

Thanks.

my card are around 1cm apart. I got no problem with heat. I am running 6 card rig. I got more than 1 rig. None got any problem. All rig using 750 ti.

And the ambient temperature is?
And you have air flow?

Temp around 58 - 65 (Depending on algo). There will always be 1 card which run very high temp, the rest is low.

I am using natural air flow. No fan. Just wind from outside.

I meant, what is the ambient air temperature like where you live? That makes all the difference specially if there is air flow.

In case anyone missed this
"It has been reported by Cyberland that the GTX 870 is projected to be at least 30% faster than the GTX 780ti"
http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/34116/20140821/gtx-800-series-release-date.htm

I wonder what that means for the 880, hopefully mining performance follows suit.

"the GeForce GTX 860 will unlikely cost substantially more than $300/£200"
I read that as it will definitely be more. Not by a lot but it puts the 880 at a £400-500 I expect

i reduced the fan because of the noise in the night, but i didn't know that it would have caused that, glad i wasn't sleeping lol

anyway the temps was around 85-86, these cards shouldn't handle those temps without problem?

for amd if you remove auto(on msi afterburner) and set the fan at low as possible, they still go up if the temps are in the warning zone, why with nvidia it isn't the same?

These gtx 750 ti aren't really noisy at all, trust me

I used to sleep with a 5 X HD7950 rig with fans at 90% in my room back in december  Grin

i have a sleep problems, even a tiny noise can awake me  Grin, but yes my old 280x were far more noisy
