My PC keeps rebooting itself after a few minutes of running ccminer. It's a Win8 x64 machine with a H81 Asrock BTC Pro board, and five EVGA 750 ti cards (no overclock). I can't get the 6th card to show up in windows yet so that's a  work in progress.

On JPC algo the pc reboots itself after about 30 seconds, on X13 it lasts about 2 minutes or so. Any ideas?
Got the same setup just with Win 7 and it works perfectly fine. Did you plug all the power coords correctly ? (I didn't use the 2nd mobo power plug)

They supposedly would have extra ARM cores, maybe to deal with the overhead, as a response to Mantle? I wonder if it could let you access them with CUDA Wink

Also, latest beta driver 340.43, made me freak out. At first, it wouldn't let me hash at all. Just had to restart the miner, and it worked Tongue I'm also noticing a small boost, does someone else notices this too?

If I was to setup a mining machine with quad 750 Ti's powered by a sempron 145, would 4gb of ram be enough to run ccminer efficiently, or would 8gb be needed?

I tried to run 4x 750 Ti's with my sempron 145 and 2gb of ram a few months ago and that didn't end well. If anyone is currently running their miners with a low powered CPU such as a Sempron 145 I'd appreciate if you chimed in. Smiley
Running 3x750 Ti's on the cheapest available Sempron with 2 GB of RAM.  Still on ccminer v1.0 .. getting 5.75 Mh/s total for X11... no overclocking.  ccminer uses ~15% of the cpu.  I wouldn't recommend 2 GB on windows though... that sounds like a nightmare... this box runs Xubuntu and has free ram still.  Built the box before I had heard of X11... thanks to the authors of cudaminer/ccminer, the box is more profitable than ever.
Sadly Windows needs more than 2GB Sad 4GB is the bare minimum of what I'd recommend to use with Windows

i've bought 8gb instead(the same model as my gaming rig) so if all this crap won't be profitable in the future, i can use those ram instead of selling them

It will be profitable as long as NVIDIA got advantage. If someone upgrade AMD for that algo  , it will not be profitable to mine sooner or later. Recent example is talk coin.

When you'll figure out that, this crap, is not profitable anymore, just sell it to those who haven't figured it out yet. I got really nice payment for my 2 jalapeños 7 month ago.

Going to post this here as a general FYI for anyone else who may have this...

I had a few machine freezes lately on my miner, and was googling for possible fixes/leads when I came across a driver that was asking to be updated in the device manager (little yellow triangle) on a device that was reporting as 'Teredo Tunnel Pseudo-Interface' under Network Adapters.

The last thing I wanted to do was start messing with a part of the network adapter, but there were more than a few people saying this was the cause of some random freezes on Win7 x64 boxes.

Anyhow, found this step-by-step on how to fix it...

1. Open command prompt with administrator credentials (Find CMD and right-click - Run as Administrator).
2. Enter netsh environment. Type "netsh" and ENTER.
3. "int teredo" and ENTER
4. "set state disabled" and ENTER.
5. Open Device Manager and uninstall "Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface".
6. Open command prompt with administrator credentials once again.
7. netsh + ENTER.
8. "int ipv6" + ENTER
9. "set teredo client" + ENTER
10. Open Device Manager and Scan for new hardware.
11. Select "Show hidden devices" from the View menu. You will now see that it is present without errors with any luck.

The big upside was that my cards all jumped about 300k khash/s after it was fixed, so hopefully no more lockups, but with a little speed bump as well!

Hope anyone else who has this problem finds this useful

Speed? Haha there are a lot of coins with almost same speed. Have you tried UTC for example?
You know why the stats of all JPC coins are so bad? Yeah its because of JPC block time. Too fast block time is like a double-edge sword. It clusters the block chain. Could you image the block chain size of JPC after five years, the same time span like BTC?
In general many experts believe that 60s to 120s block time would be the most efficient.

Well I didn't talk about cryptonote coins. They have a lot of others problems to deal with before dealing with the block chain size. I talk about altcoins, bitcoin-fork in general. cryptonote coins use different technology, they just copy the idea of bitcoin.

Yeah I know that. But your calculator doesn't include the fact that diff of JPC fluctuates A LOT, and the stats of all JPC pools are pretty bad (expected shares are at least 150%). So in reality you got a lot of less coin than the calculator. But I bet people don't care about this, the calculator said this is most profitable so it should be like that.  Grin. No offense.  Wink

I just put my rig on Dwarfpool as well because I support their system... so easy to setup and config coins using their system.

Hope more migrate over as well to even out the hashes to more and more pools.
