I believe all the virus scanners pick up anything that talks to the hardware directly, they don't like how this stuff is all coded.

it's the typical cpuminer signature.

The virus scanners pick it up as a threat because some asshats have been using cpu and gpu miners as payloads in botnets.

It is fine if it is on that page.

Anything compiled on that site, or that is released by CBuchner on Github is trustworthy in my book.

If you don't trust it, then go ahead and compile it from the source yourself to be sure.

MSI afterburner 3.0 is out http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/msi_afterburner_beta_download.html , anyone know how to unlock the core frequency with the 750ti like the older version?

Ahh nevermind, I've just noticed that msi updated nvidia driver to 337.50 witch have the limited core offset...   Grin
337.88 have unlocked offset
I had lost track of the new nvidia release, thanks  Smiley

Is there a link to download the latest windows binaries for ccminer that includes the changes to improve simd performance?  without compiling?

http://cudamining.cc/url/releases

EDIT: V1.02

Question here guys, I've looked through the CCMiner releases, and can't find any word of X13 in them yet. It isn't supported by CCMiner yet, correct?

Thanks.  Does compute 5.0 work?  Edit.  Ran ccminer50 and it works.
Dumb question.  What is the difference between ccminer1.0, ccminer1.1, ccminer30, 35 and ccminer50?  Which has the highest stable hash rates?  thanks.

all the answers are on the website ( Grin why answer when everything is written)
regarding  the 30 it is for card using compute 3.0 (? not sure)
                    35                          compute 3.5 (780, 780ti, Titan)
                    50                          compute 5.0 (750ti)
Thanks.  I didn't use the master.zip folder.  All I did was download the ccminer50, create my batch file in it and run it and it worked. Did I do it right?  Also, is there a way to easily provide a failover pool and is there any management program that the cudaminers use to manage ccminer rigs??  Thanks again for all your help.

no there not i run 1.0 but why should i run 1.1 or 1.2?

Is cudaminer going to support blake multi mining? mine 5 coins at the same time!
this concept is so stupid, putting crappy coins between the coin which are interesting is idiotic... the only interest if for multipool but clearly not for the coins themselves  (if they can't realized that for themselves... my opinion won't change anything  Grin)

Doesn't have to a be a crappy coin.  QCN and MRO can both be merge minded.  Go check the price on them.
their prices aren't that good, I tried to mine a bit MRO, if I compare the price to what I got, I can't say it is profitable.

Yeap, there are also 3 updates in the comments, but i'm not a programer to figure out how to implement and compile them. So, i need to go to a univirsity to figure out how to compile i miner. :/

Code:
while (!isDevsPublishedNewAlgo)
{
    if (isProgrammer())
        contributeNewAlgo();
    else
        mineWithWhateverAlgoIsThere();
}

Don't mean to act like a total amateur here, but are there any references or documents I can look at to try and figure this type of stuff out?

I actually spent a decent amount of time playing with the CudaMiner code, compiling it, and successfully running it. After that, I grabbed the C and Header files from the CPU-Miner of a new algo and spent time making it compile under CudaMiner and run the ScanHash() function with the new opt switch I added.

However, it doesn't use the GPU and gives rates similar to a CPU (which leads me to believe the C and Header files I implemented don't leverage the GPU). It DOES hash and submit shares though.

Long story short -- I'd like look into figuring out how to make the ScanHash() function of this algo work on GPU but not sure where to find documents about it. Where did you get started, Christian?

Thanks!

I do not understand why there is no upgrade for X13 algo.
- While the diff on a hot coin is still low, there is a point to mine, after that, there is no point in mining when the diff. gets raised too the moon. :/

How do I install the windows binaries for ccminer that includes the latest 3 commits?

Have ccminer but not sure how to download the commits from github and add them to the latest ccminer.

Is there a windows binary that already includes these commits?  thanks.
