I think this can have a big impact for many big sectors.
The sectors i can see :

- 3d secure approval for credit cards
- Age verification approval for certain sites and services

Etc.

If this is played well this can be used in many many ways.

Of course Civic are aware. Vinny is talking on Stratis slack quite often lately (@civicivic).

Please spam your signature in some other thread. good luck with your stratis beta proof of concept app or whatever. CIVIC is already being used by a lot of websites and ICOs are adopting it to make distribution fair. there is no comparison to be done here. thanks for understanding

What is the point of your comment? Civic is way ahead of Stratis. If your post is meant to spread FUD, maybe it's best if you remove it.

It's always good to know what the competition is up to.

Why so sensitive if Civic is "way ahead of Stratis"?

Well, FUD can start to live its own life, which is not what we need in this bear market. Also, I'm sure the Civic team is aware of the activities of Stratis Wink

I do not agree at all, we're talking about a (potential) competitor. It is not FUD at all, is knowing the environment you're investing in.

STRATIS is still developing the Proof of Concept.. CIVIC already being used by lot of websites for authentication. no comparison. STRATIS will follow CIVIC in this field

CVC already hit polo ,that's great ,but the price is not nice ,i alwasy trust cvc will success, i think long-term investment is good

CVC is a great long term investment. In October there are a couple of nice updates expected (e.g. age verification). September was supposed to be a fun month for CVC but the China problems got in the way.

Hold and be happy!

This is what I would like answered  Tongue

I believe Vinny describes Civic as a user verification system whereby NO user data is stored anywhere other than your phone/device.  And in the case of apple Iphone in the Secure Enclave?  I see that https://app.civic.com stores user data including your social security number.  All with no complex password restrictions nor a required multifactor authentication.

What gives?

Thank You

Civic trading in poloniex, nooice  Grin

Really awesome news. Poloniex added quite some coins recently though. But still a big plus!

New big exchange is always good news! Even is Poloniex is not at its best.

Not the best time... With the market crash no one care if polo added Civic!
Can we still look for some up in value in the next days?

Looks like a good time to buy some more civic. Any drop is good  Grin

Yes, it is best choice to buy CVC in the market because right now the market completely down. So we have to grab as many CVC as possible because once Bitcoin price increases the value CVC will increase in the market.

buying at the dip. hoping will go up again
I am waiting for it to dip a bit more before I get my basket full.CVC is a long term hold for sure

I really like the concept of blockchain, secured ID verification - really the thing Civic is aiming for. But I have my concerns with it - could anyone help me out? Smiley

1) What are Civic's competitors and what are his advantage over them?

2) From what you can read on Civic page it seems like they already have working product with these all cool features. But from what I see they only have an app for fingerprint with email and phone number and I can use that to sign in to few webpages. And what's worse, there isn't any kind of roadmap or something. My question is - does anyone know when other features should be implemented? I have confidence that IF they deliver all advertised features then it will be huge success - but from what I see I'm not sure they'll deliver.

3) Due to #1 and #2 - do you really think that in the current state it is a good long-term buy?

Thanks for answers guy  Wink
