Got another email from civic about the token allocation....doesnt specify how many tokens i was allocated though...

Learn to read those emails so you don't have ask dumb questions.

In the next few days you will receive a follow-up email with the following details:

Number of tokens allocated to you
An overview of the refund process if applicable
Purchase tier reconciliation (If you have paid less than your selected purchase tier, we will aim to allocate you tokens according to the actual payment received from you.)

Since I see a lot of repeated questions I thought it would be helpful to share the first recommended reading material, for anyone dabbling in Civic.
I am linking the whitepaper here, copied from the main, original post in this thread.  If you haven't yet read the Civic whitepaper, I highly recommend it.
 https://tokensale.civic.com/whitepaper
This is projected to be a major player on the field with almost certain profits.  Cheers, happy investing (after educating yourself via the reading.).

Hey buddy,

Since the crowdsale took place 06/21 I really do not see them getting someone to translate it to our local board. But if ever you will get the translation job, I would look forward to it.

I didnt get answer the first time so here I go again:

How much emails did you get when you bought your Civic?
I got only one with my payment details and also saying "This is not a receipt. Your final token allocation is not confirmed until the token sale is over.".
Was I supposed to get another one after the trasaction was confirmed?

Also is there a way to confirm I participated in the ICO?
The email you received also reports:
  • time of transaction
  • Total amount of transaction
  • transaction id
  • your public address
The transaction id I received by email corresponds to the one reported on my wallet.
This should confirm your participation.
Crowdsale originally planned timeframe ended on 28th of June, I hope we will soon receive news.

I did not receive this email :/ Anyone else?
Ya, All this info was in the email.

Civic has huge potential backed by an enthusiastic them. iv already seen a few crypto sites using civics qr log in and saves all the hassle of re-entering your email, then password twice, then logging into your email to confirm it is indeed you....and that's the most basic application for this project. Getting people to download the app to participate in the ico is also a clever move because it is already in the hands of over 50,000 people just from the ico. Civic will be huge and even if it hits the exchange at $1 that is still a bargain all day long!

Civic is going to be huge because a large number of whales that were limited by what amounts they could buy will pick up huge amounts after the ICO with few sell walls to block their path.

Definitely, 2500 bucks for many people out there are something less than a small tip.

Will the app be updated so as to run also on older phones? I could not take part to the ICO just because my phone is 3 years old...

Does anyone know the price of 1 CVC? I'd like to know how much tokens I'll receive for $100

If you bought at crowdsale it's $0.1 per CVC so you'll get 1000 CVC when the distribution comes.

Gracias! Smiley

For newer users I'll quote myself here. I'm not saying Kashish's offer isn't totally legit, just make sure that you are aware that it is likely that the price will drop once real exchanges add CVC. At the moment the price on that website is solely based on HitBTC's inflated prices.
His offer is legitimate, he can ask whatever he wants, now somebody else can came here and set half of that price. I believe we need speculation thread now!
It's up to you will you accept this as relevant price, but i know i wouldn't do this. All trades without exchange can be dangerous, price is not formed yet.

I never said his offer wasn't legitimate. Merely said that it is based on a price which is likely to be extremely inflated. People that may not know a lot about HitBTC's pricing history when it comes to IOUs may mistakenly think that their price represents the go-to market price.

Why is the name of the abbreviation the same as Crypviser Coin?

And the distribution of this coin is too extreme.

Prices will drop just like that
