DeepOnions for the WIN!
@crypto-rainbow in DV , is it possible to remove a filehash?
what about fee?
also do you have a road-map to integrate a cloud storage to store file itself?
file could encrypt using PK from user address then store on a cloud.

The whole idea of storing the hash on the blockchain, is the fact that it is immutable. That means it cannot be changed our deleted....

Maybe integration later with Sia, Storj or IPFS or IPDB would make it possible to store actual file, who knows...

DeepVault is indeed a great addition to the coin. Besides the new feature, this proofs clearly, that the development team is capable of implementing a new code with unique changes! The future of DeepOnion is bright!

REQUEST EXTENDED TO OCT 8, 2017. Thank You

Hi Xsinx,

If I am working on the blogger list page where it hosts links information for all things about DeepOnion projects and also other members articles, intended to spread around information with more channels (in my case here the channel is via the Blogger network). Is this considered good form of Bountry Request?

I planned to add some member's articles to the blog so that it contains more useful contents and backlinks to our DeepOnion network.
For the articles to be added to the blog, I have added credits mentioned back to writers and with 'Sources' backlinks at the end of the article back to their original article's address.

Here is an example of article from @vikingchild, I have already asked for his permission to add the article to a page in my blog.

http://deeponionlist.blogspot.com/2017/09/what-is-deeponion-and-how-can-i-get-them.html

So if this blog list is not considered a good way to request for bountry, please let me know I will remove my request from your request thread.

Cheers Smiley

give more people chance to earn despite of banning accounts deeponion

I agree with you that the more participators are involved in the airdrop the better. Nevertheless the quality of users and prevention of fraud takes the first position.

it's just sad that there are plenty of people who are good enough that are still blacklisted for many weeks now.  many blacklisted people remains loyal even while blacklisted.  they continue to do their part in posting and participating in the forum.  i hope devs/mods can take some time to get these people back to airdrop program.  these people can be potential assets to the community.

I was blacklisted and it took just over 2 weeks to be removed from it and join the airdrops again. I can't say how long it will take this time around but be prepared to miss 2 airdrops, and keep posting in the mean time.

I personally experimented to miss 6 airdrops since I'm blacklisted, but I have the hope the situation will improve with the ticket system

Waiting for the new wallet, also waiting for the deepsend Wink Cheesy
keep up devs !

I am really looking forward to the release of DeepVault. There are so many files that I possess that I just don't feel have the necessary protection. Using DeepVault will give me the personal security that I want and need.

Hey crypto-rainbow, once the new wallet is out with the deepvault, do you know if they will publish the code on the official github?

I usualy like to build the wallet binaries myself and like to look at the code.  Until now we haven't had the opportunity to do that.  Alot of code release the code and often people build it themselves or post code review, i haven't seen this yet on this project.

I think we would benefit from feeding those "expert users".

Thanks for enlightening me up!

I agree and hope you will be heard.

Warning for Slack Users ... I just got a scam message through the Deep Onion Slack Channel, claiming I had to sign up for "myetherwaillet" (<- note the misspelling) ... This is a coin stealer, the sender is not associated with Deep Onion, don't follow the links.

Unfortunately, Slack is full of scamers... And apparently there is currently no moderators to ban this account. I'm just hoping there is no credulous people who gave his key.

Is there an equivalent tool in the world of crypto?
I believe filecoin will offer something similar but still, DeepOnion will be a superior technology being on tor network you can be sure that your documents will be secure as well every other transaction you make while filecoin will only offer a secure file storage. DeepOnion has still a lot to give to the community, so I would recommend you to join this fantastic project before it's too late!

thank you

Unfortunately you don't qualify for the airdrop as your account was registered after the 1 September 2017. You can still receive onion by registering in the official forum and enter the bounty rewards. Good luck

Does anyone know if us airdrop participants will be able to move over to the new wallet without losing our place in the airdrop? It would be nice to hop onto the fancy new program, but I'll stick with the old one if need be. Thanks in advance for answers Smiley

true, some experts prefer to compile the source code and run.  at the same time, they can take a look at the code before compiling.  one advantage of posting source codes to the github is that users can also help check the codes for bugs.  downside is ofcourse, if bad people saw the bug and take advantage of it to do damage.

Well you rather see people finds bugs and exploit them before you DO gets to 200$, believe me!

I really like this project, but i don't think it can go very high if the code isn't published. We have more than 3,000 members, so this project is very popular and very "horizontal" we need some "vertical users", that will be able to dig more into technical aspect of it!

I am also in favor that we need to get the code to github for all the experts to take a look and verify. Aren't some exchanges have it where the code has to be available before listing?
