If you don't hit a stake for a few days or even a week than it can be possible to get a big stake like yours maybe because your wallet only runs for a few hours a week.
Or you get smaller stakes on a more regular basis.

You're right with numbers, but the interest is not paid out on a daily base. If you leave your wallet closed your weight increases and you may get more stakes in a shorter timeframe. But over a year you will get around 10%
