somebody has information?
Nova is having lots of problems. I would avoid keeping any funds there for now. They changed their terms to say they are in "beta" and are not responsible for mismatched trades if the currency was already withdrawn from the site. They switched to manual withdrawals and are constantly shutting down the registration page due to attacks. It seems that people are also having 2-factor authentication problems.
What will it take to get Onions listed on Cryptopia?
When did this happen? They are saying now that they are Beta? That seems a bit strange after actively being around for at least a couple years. (maybe even more than a couple years)
what does beta mean? who gave you this information because currently the site no longer works.
Thanks
Here, "Beta" means CYA. It means they may have already been compromised and lost coins, or see major problems in their infrastructure that puts funds at risk. I am on my phone right now, I can't find their terms, but this was posted in their community thread here on Bitcointalk about a week ago:
BETA Notice
Novaexchange is currently in BETA mode in production mode until further notice. The BETA tag will be removed once all known bugs are fixed and no new bugs encountered for a period of 3 weeks. While BETA tag applies things can go wrong and Novaexchange will in timely matter help the user to restore (if any) digital currencies. A trade that has gone wrong can be reversed during 48 hours of the timestamp of the trade and only as long as the currency remain on Novaexchange, once withdrawn or 48 hours has passed that transaction cannot be reversed.
So all trades are final........ unless the counterparty still has funds in their account.
