Thanks crypto-rainbow. Hopefully, we can get more qualified people join us on the next airdrop.
We cleaned a lot of cheat accounts at this airdrop, it was most probably the final ban wave, we will continue strictly monitoring new applications.
I think it is excellent to have cleaned all the cheat accounts. However there has been also "collateral damage", ie innocent victims (I know a few myself, so I guess there could be many more), which is not good when your vision is the growth of the community, and the growth of the community is crucial to have the coin increase its value. Adoption base is what ultimately gives value to a coin long term.
Therefore, now that the cleaning season is over or about to be over I think some efforts should start to be done to correct whichever mistakes/unjustices have been committed in the process. To make mistakes is human, but people like and respect to see mistakes addressed and taken care of in the most careful way. This is what ultimately gives people trust and confidence in a project.
Amen to that! I have been added to the black list for unknown reasons, but I am fairly sure it is due to error. I have been doing my best to be an active community member and I do support the project as I think it addresses some fundamental flaws that the world of cryptos has.
I'm just hoping a bit of patience and my 'request for help' on the forum is the right avenue to get it looked at. Hopefully just get back on board and keep the ONION movement going forwards.
I think there has to have been some sort of error as the statistics page says 430 holders but only 251 participants in this weeks airdrop.. I just can't see that 179 people (myself included) were deserving of either missing out or a black listing.
I'm a bit confused too. I got blacklisted for unknown reasons two airdrops ago and posted in the support thread. It showed "for review by dev team" earlier this week, but today I found that I'm still blacklisted.
At least it still shows under review, so I hope that I'll be able to get back in next round.
Can't lie and say that I'm not sad about missing out on the +500 defender Onions just to find myself on blacklist for two weeks though.
Either way, things still seem within reasonable bounds. There's way too many people interested in DO right now to manually take care of all the tricksters and it seems like people are being reconsidered all the time, so I'm still optimistic about DO's long-term future.
