DeepOnion is growing healthily. We see a big growing community which is very active and helpful. While we are very happy that many members help the comminity, we do notice that there are a portion of the members, almost never appear in this thread or any DeepOnion-related threads, they just post some very brief messages to make up the 10 in some other threads. Their intentions are just to collect free stuff and likely to dump to make a quick profit.
Unfortunately our current rules don't exclude them. We want to get suggestions from the community: (1) do we exclude them after 1-2 more airdrops? Just to give them a chance to participate (2) do we exclude members whose posts are mostly getting free rewards from different threads? (3) We also want suggestions from you how to better develop the community.
I think any participant that has signed up for the DO project and is meeting the current requirements should be allowed to continue to receive their airdrop bonus.
In my opinion, it is advantageous to have DO supporters posting in as many different threads as they would like to on Bitcointalk - everywhere they post, the DO signature is also posted.
My advice would be to try and keep as close to the original participation guidelines you developed as you can crypto-rainbow. Consistency is very important - it acts to foster peoples confidence in the project, the coin and the Dev team. In the long run consistency will also ultimately save you and the Dev team a lot of time and effort.
The larger the rolling snowball grows the more effort it takes to adjust its course - and DO is quickly becoming one hell of a snowball.
(Also, don't create unnecessary stress for yourself crypto-rainbow by trying to second-guess other people intentions. Or trying to control them - that way madness lies
)
The target of DeepOnion at it's current stage is to reach as many people as possible. While I'm regularly posting here, you shouldn't force people to contribute to this topic. If they are active on Bitcointalk, they are spreading the news with their signature. You want a fair distribution of all coins, don't force people to post in this thread. This will just shine bad light on Onion.
Also all in all I have to say: Please, please stop making changes to the airdrop system! It's good how it is, Onion is getting more and more people into it. Just relax, sit and watch. You don't need to further adopt anything, it's already good. Changing basic distribution mechanics will just confuse people or lead to crashed in the distribution script etc. I know you want to get better and better, but for now it would be best to just do nothing and watch
