added an exception for wallet in firewall, added .conf file, still not syncing, please help !
What country are you from? There is could be a small chance that your ISP or your government are blocking TOR services.Australia, nvm, it just thought for a minute and started syncing, thank you!

Have you tried going to Settings > Options > Network > "Map port using upnp"

maybe your router, firewall or your antivirus software blocks the Tor Network.
