DeepOnions for the WIN!
Personally it would not be my choice to let a developer write a whitepaper.
Yes, you are completely right. It should be a strategist, a CTO, someone with the big picture to put things together. It should have to be approved by a board. It needs to have accountability. And so on.

Nothing is in place here, a "white paper" written by a bunch of anonymous forum moderators, dealing with 32mUS$ market cap right now.

Something is very wrong here.

There are a lot of other crypto projects, if you are not happy with this one, PLEASE move over to some of those other projects. It will be a favour to the whole community Smiley

What point did you not understand in what I wrote?

You are the FUDer here now, when other people offer constructive critizism.

Your attempt at change of tact is SOOO transparent! LOL! You are just here to spread FUD - get yourself something else to do. This is a great community and we do not need negative, FUD spreading individuals.

Far off, MonkeyMan, I'm not disgruntled. Actually I'm still somewhat on board, had some good talk with Jimmy yesterday, he said he is a mod as well, but that you know better.

You banned me in DO forums in a moment of your fame, powerful you were. But it backfired.

So here we are now. I don't want to fight you, no point, I am invested in DO, and I offered more than once useful advise that in the end was implemented.

Up to you where it goes from now, again, I am not against DO at all.

It didn't backfire. In fact, the reason you were banned was because a) either due to a lack of English comprehension, or b) a dislike of our efforts to remove spam - decided to take issue with a site wide alert asking people to please refrain from posting duplicate threads. That said, even that wasn't the issue - the deceleration that you were moving on was what prompted the banning - I simply facilitated your stated desire. Regardless, that was then, this is now.

There is no argument here. Just feel anyone reading this should take what you say with a grain of salt, and understand who the speaker is.

Anyone wishing to Discuss the progress of this project should visit the new official DO ANN thread - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/onion-privacy-coin-with-real-use-cases-deeponion-222-released-2683530

I would like to point out that developers do what they are good at: putting working programs/sofware together.
Personally it would not be my choice to let a developer write a whitepaper. So that you would choose someone else for this task is completely logical in my opinion.

Please abandon this thread and move to the new discussion here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/onion-privacy-coin-with-real-use-cases-deeponion-222-released-2683530

Upon all effort to get hold of this coin called deep Onion, all fell abortive. Starting from the airdrop till date.

That isn't a hidden fact...His account was hacked, and now he's using a new one...yes, it is deeperx. Great work, detective.

Not really sure what your point in being here is, you got banned from the forums, got disgruntled, and now seem to have an ax to grind.

I'm not here to engage in a discussion with you, as I feel that would be thoroughly pointless. I've already had the misfortune of having to deal with you in our forums.

Fact is your intentions are painfully transparent, and have nothing to do with what you call a "discussion"

This is the original topic. Let's continue here. Don't understand why it has to be split just because the censor has been removed. It's a good thing that happened to this discussion.

Topic has split into two, I find that this is inconvenient for everyone and also for the dev team,
they will become more difficult to manage both topics. Embarrassed

Why did you not announce that crypto-rainbow is now deeperx? In the consensus of being open and someone may be even able to discuss with you, like I had the impression yesterday with Jimmy. Deeperx/Crypto-Rainbow today throw that all back to dark ages in just a few minutes.

But that is of course not my problem. I am here and I will have my time with you, good or bad, you decide Smiley

Welcome to the new DeepOnion Bitcointalk.org thread!
We've had to create a new thread as a result of crypto-rainbow's account being compromised and hearing no response from Bitcointalk staff. If the account is ever recovered we will revert back to the previous.

The only thing that stops me from writing an objective article about that supposed to be "white paper", a document written by forum moderators, not any developer, is that I am invested in this coin. But I may do it anyway. It's the right of shareholders to voice their opinion rather than being censored. I know it is different from countries like China where crypto-rainbow aka deeperx hails from. But it does not mean we go along with this shit unnoticed.

What are the current rules for the airdrop? Looks like the airdrop site at deeponion.org is outdated.
Ive read that the post count was lowered?
Yes post count is lowered and also there is not registration date limit to Join the Airdrop Smiley
I am blind or are the old requirements still online on the deep onion website? It says 5 msg here and 3 in do forum.

we will soon update new page there you will see new rules

Such a thread with so many, many pages having to be replaced. That's a shame. Hopefully they will get it back.

See it positive, that thread is still active. The only disturbance that was removed is the censor, crypto-rainbow. Good, so perhaps there can be a more open discussion here from now on.

Im the very decease you pretend to be
You are right.
The development is kind of confusing.
BUT.
Coin works.
Marketing is not the best but efficient.
Forum works. Some generic content there.
POS works.
Idea is ok. I guess. Some security, with all the regulation hysteria TOR is brand name for avoiding too much attention.
DeepOnion is one of best managed airdrop based coins out there.
8USD per onion is crazy, but i think it has good chance to stay alive and become very usefull instrument in crypto world.

Its a waste abandoning this thread, 2000+ pages in 6 months is an impressive achievements.

The Devteam should continue to work on recovering the account. On the side note, Onion is very stable at the moment at 42k to 44k sats price range and didn't blink when BTC starts to rally.

This thread will not be abandoned - but we cannot claim it as our official bitcointalk thread until such stage as its OP recovers their account.

As far as I am aware, there has been no response as yet from bitcointalk mods to the OPs request for reinstatement.

About DeepSend from the "White Paper":

"DeepSend comprises of a number of technologies such
as:
• Zero knowledge technologies by Zerocash and Zerocoin:
such as ZCash and ZCoin
• CoinJoin technologies, either with centralized mixers
(such as masternodes) or random mixers (Seen
in Dash and SuperCoin)
• Ring signatures by CryptoNote: such as Bytecoin
and Monero
Each technology has both pros and cons. For example,..."

What does it mean? You guys compare different options but don't know what to do? Why this is in your "white paper"? No strategy. No plan. No schedule. Just hot air and nothing else. Or does it mean you want to copy&paste code from these coins as you did before and pretend it is your own IP? Scratching my head.
