I think he's asking if his wallet need to be open to receive the air drop. If that's the case then no, it does not have to be open.

Simple answer is it does not matter if you wallet is synced or not. It does not matter if it is open or not. If you are a part of airdrop, then you will receive your Onions ! cheers

I am even thinking of buying 100 $onion on cryptopia just to support. market cap is 3 million, looks like a good project, happy to get involved, working through the steps for next airdrop.

It doesn't need to be running to receive the airdrop, but if you keep it running you will get stakes from it (10% per year).

Don't need to run it 24/7 for staking, opening it for a few hours every week should be enough to get the staking rewards...

I wrote a post on the DeepOnion forum five weeks ago where I suggested a solution to this problem. If every airdrop recipient has to sign a message with the airdrop address the issue would disappear. But I didn't get much response. To much posts there for anyone to notice. Grin

Very happy that we are listed on Cryptopia, this choice of the new exchange was reasnoble cause cryptopia is a reliable one.
Tomorrow is the airdrop, so excited, hope it will be succesful like the other ones.
Hope we don't see huge ammount difference between the marticipants cause this can make new participants disappointed.

then make sure you change your airdrop address to the qt wallet and move your coins from the exchamnge to the new wallet
