I agree with your outlook but price/volume is a good indicator of more and more people taking notice of DeepOnion. Ultimately, adding to our community is our runway to greater things so thats why price/volume is important now despite you and I having no intention of selling our Onions.
With the fluctuating coin releases (due to airdrops), the ability to get free coins (from airdrops), current bounties etc... I think price is a far too unstable / improper measure of interest.
A correct metric would be the social activity - Official forums, airdrop participants or even this thread.
Social activity could also been seen in the same light as price is viewed. Once the airdrops are completed, the true strength of the community is displayed. The members that persist after the airdrop are the true members - those that are in not just for the monetary gain. The activity on DeepOnion forum suggests that we have a great and fast-growing community.
