Airdrop participants, after using DeepVault feature you should move change back to your airdrop address. Be careful with inputs and airdrop address balance.

hi, just want to clarify regarding deepvault.  deepvault only stores file hashes, not the actual files, right?  if we have a set of 100 small files that needs to be hashed and stored, do we need to pay 100 onions for this and transact 100 times?  or just 1 onion for storing 100 file hashes in 1 transaction?

I believe its 1 onion per document registration, verifying the files are free.

The registration fee is there to prevent abuses on our block chain. We can set another ratio, 0.1 or so in the future, base on market prices.

Thank you for sharing this important information crypto-rainbow. Have you published this info on the community forums as well? I was asking about fees adjustments the other day and couldn't seem to find an answer there (easily).

I could never imagine getting a stake reward with just 46.5 DeepOnions   Grin

Even wallet with 46 onions can get a stake. Wow. Saved for proofs.  Cool
Just yesterday I got 3.38602739 ONIONS for staking, I forget how much Onion use for staking but I have 4,912 balance in my account.
Take note, that didn't took so long before I earned the reward, if I remember it right I think it was less than an our, this is so generous, I could already buy a couple of beers with what I earned but I choose to keep it.

Actually, my reward was very rare event.  It is very very difficult to get staking reward with such a small amount of DeepOnion (even though it was small reward).

I've been staking with total amount of 29.24612368 ONIONs (this is all what i got at the moment), but so far with no success yet.

I'm looking forward to increase my weight value in order to earn some ONIONs.

can't waiting for the airdrop

Right now, your newbie rank do not meet the rules of the airdrop. You need to rank up to Jr. Member to be eligible for the airdrops.

So I suggest you increase your activities in bitcointalk. And you also better read or review the rules of the airdrops; so that when you're going to register or apply for the airdrop, you will have no trouble or confusions doing so because you would already know how.

Are there any other requirements for participating?

Yes, you can read some more of the rules for participating the airdrops. You can find it here in our website. Here's the link https://deeponion.org/index.php#airdrop-participate

Please read them so that you will know your situation before participating. Thank you for your interest in joining us in the DeepOnion community.

Well, this project is really fire, though it's great to see that the code is less innovative, but it's distributed free of charge

Could you zip or rar all the files? Then you can just hash the 1 compressed folder instead of individual documents.

I'm not sure hey, I think @jimmybob_007 is best suited to answer this one.

I think it is okay if you rar or zip them. The rar or zip file's integrity and authenticity will be checked if it is tampered or altered in any way. So, I think rarrinf or zipping will do the job if there's several files compressed in it. It's still a file.

Now the money is free, and so the people will be
1 Onion right now seems about right.  But in the near future, 1 onion will buy many things, so we could bring it down to 0.001 onion Smiley  In any case 1$ to use the features is not a big deal.

You can hash any kind of file, the DO client will be hashed this way. So yes, you can zip all the files and hash that zip file.

Incidentally a zip or rar with some checksum is a good way to store many small files.
