I think part of it has to do with the removal of DeepPoints from the forum, as now a lot of people won't be able to earn onions through there, so they're going to the exchanges and purchasing there instead, which is pushing the price up. That, and the airdrop happening today has a christmas bonus so people are trying to stuff their wallets to get as much as possible.

Very good points and probably the exact reasoning for the price hike yesterday, it has dropped back down now but I'll be happy if it stabilises around the $6.5-7 mark!!
