This is really a great project. I checked all the information and personnel of the project. It made me very excited to invest in their project. There are a lot of special points in this project, I hope the staff will continue to work effectively in the future.

This golang build is good as long I know, I tried restore wallet from seed and worked well, sync goes in reasonable time and when I can put this new wallet on USB drive then this is more secure and convenient -- no need for online wallet!

right now i can mine 3 dero\day with desktop (1 with CPU and 2 with GPU). Not so bad, i think. (Mining rig gives 10 dero\day)

Golang Alpha build can run without clashing existing C daemon and current New code can run from USB drive and stores files only in current directory.
Sync times has reduced a lot.

Two options :

1) Buy on exchange
2) Rent large hashpower for an extended period of time. Longer time is better than higher hash rate as the difficulty adjusts quickly.

I would advise against ASICs as dero (as well as most cryptonote coins) plan on changing the aglo to make ASICs useless.

Can you mine DERO with asic?  I've been researching and trying to determine how to accumulate a sizable amount of the coins.

i dont think there are profits when you using desktop to mining DERO coins ,gpu and asic are better.

You can download any mining program for the CryptoNight PoW algo.

I use XMR-Stak myself, it's a miner that supports CPU and GPU mining (AMD + Nvidia).

How to mine DERO using my desktop?

Do you already have any smart contracts using this project? To create contracts  must pay a fee?

Dero has written a new blockchain technology based on the CryptoNote protocol with the next major step being new smart contract controls. Dero's new blockchain is coded in golang (Go) to bring together the CryptoNote protocol and smart contracts on the Dero blockchain.

Dero's new blockchain based on the CryptoNote protocol and written in golang is now complete and the development team have completed their Q1 roadmap goals early. Having written a new blockchain technology from the ground up successfully, the team is now turning their attention to smart contracts with CryptoNote privacy.

For now, the new code is backwards compatible with the previous CryptoNote protocol (Helium Hydra). If you download the previous and new clients you're able to run both sets of daemons in parallel. That being said, it adds a lot of effort to maintain compatibility and some time in the near future we will drop support for the previous CryptoNote protocol (Helium Hydra).

We will provide technical details and developer details in the future.

Yes, the forking issue that happened for 2 days has been over for almost 3 weeks.

Private smart contracts would finally be able to bring justice back to this world.

Have others experienced this?  I continued mining during the forking crisis specifically because Capt Dero said that we should continue mining on the official pool then.  I could have pointed my miners elsewhere but wanted to continue supporting the community during that period.
