The Dero team has listened to the community and is actively working to bring Dero to more exchanges as soon as reasonably possible. The exchanges are seeing a very high number of applications right now which can result in extended application times and delayed responses to general inquiries. However, rest assured that the Dero team is actively pursuing this issue with the same level of vigor and enthusiasm that they've approached the project with as a whole.

I can't speak for the Dero team in any capacity, however, they did post an explanation of what they plan to do with the premine. This is just my opinion, I feel that if a team puts in the kind of work and dedication that it takes to become a real success that they deserve to keep their premine. They're taking a lot of personal financial risk and dedicating a lot of time to this project with no guarantee of reward if they don't produce a solid working project.

Given that many coins with a premine are being punished by investors if they disagree with the way the devs use the funds, I feel that it gives the Dero team a stronger incentive to be smart with their premine as it's a very sensitive subject right now.

CaptDero is good people, I won't speak much about private conversations but I can say that I'm reasonably confident that if Dero succeeds that you will see some genuine good come of those premined coins.

The dev having lots of coins is necessary because he has 2 other developers he works with who need to be paid, and the dev must also pay for the hosting of the website, original mining pool, marketing, incorporation of the dero company, etc. You saying he shouldn't have much premine is like saying a startup shouldn't own their own shares. If the startup doesn't own their own shares, what the FUCK is the financial incentive for them to succeed?

Normally I don't invest in premined coins, but premine coins of Dero project are locked for 4 years and it's a really good sight of long term commitment from our Devs. This is the only exception that make me feel much more comfortable, even more than my other no premined projects.

I think you are right. I'm also considering to invest some money to this coin. It seems well done and the dev seems to be present here quite often: this is a crucial point for me to trust a new coin project. We will see...

I have a ticket open with them suggesting that the problem might be a) that they're using the transfer RPC command rather than transfer_split or b) that they have the Mixin set too high. Will let you know if I get any response.

I haven't had that issue, you may want to check your PSU/fan speeds. Usually, crashes are due to heat or power issues.

I would like to commend captain dero on his efforts. It looks like the status update 2 was released 5 days ahead of schedule. This looks like a team of committed developers to making their currency succeed.

Captdero, could we maintain a short term timeline of when all status releases are coming out in the main thread? To me, showing what you're going to do on a micro-scale is important because it demonstrates your ability to get shit done. If we had a micro-calendar, then I could maintain it and show the world that you deliver, and that you deliver usually before the deadline. I could make and maintain a google calendar and we could pin the link in bitcointalk and slack for greater community awareness.
