I dont think deropool.sytes.net is paying out

I had a miner connected for 8 hours and every pool block has been paid to 1 payee including blocks I had been part of mining for 7+ hours

I see all payments going to 1 payee on the last several payments but there have been multiple miners

Edit: It seems to be working fine now

huh, now i see what a hard job to mine some dero Wink

now my ip banned from http://pool.dero.live... Sad used port 7777 with 1 vega (2 Kh..) so just don`t understand why....

It's not that hard. Wink

2 Kh with Vega? Nice... 56 or 64?

yep, before had a same issue on intense pool, with the mid hardware range port... and the high range hardware port fixed the issue... (just wondering maybe been there with more Kh...not sure... anyway it`s working now Smiley )

Try rebooting the cable modem (if this applies), then close and restart the miner.

When launching derod get an error:

Code:
[1515660803] libunbound[2388:0] error: can't bind socket: Permission denied. for
 0.0.0.0

What is it?

such an error occurs when port on which daemon listens already used - most often because daemon already running. Or might be another app using it. TcpView utility may help identify the reason

Seems interesting. I was trying to buy some but seem like nobody want to sell this (gem?). Hope I still can buy some before it comes to more exchanges.

Yeah...Especially got banned just because too active on reply in the Thread that He's created. How come this considering as SPAM??

Was replying in thread as well as PM to the users's queries. In addition to that was preaching DERO.
Will upgrade to copper membership.

Why is there a CaptDero and a CaptD, both posting as Devs?  Two separate people on dev team?  One guy posing?

Price is doing well on stocks.exchange.

I verified in the slack channel that CaptD and CaptDero are the same person.  Once the weekly ban for being too active here expires you will see your beloved CaptDero again.  Wink

Will be back after 4 days. Smiley

You got banned for being too active?  Weird policy.  Thank you for answering.

Hey CaptD  Grin
I read the whole topic. I understand that not only  I have problems with high diff. Please make a fixed diff ratio on the pool.
450H/s - diff 60k 200H/s - diff 20k
it's crazy

Yeah.. I faced this problem from the beginning. We have no choice until someone willing to made another pool using "cryptonote universal pool"
that have option for fixed diff. I already posted a question for pool owner in here... why they choose "node cryptonote pool" instead of "cryptonote universal pool"?
but nobody answer the question.
check this links https://cryptonotestarter.org/kb/mining-pools.html.
I try to setup cryptonote universal pool for myself (LAN / Solo Mining), but end up with wrong ubuntu version.  Smiley,
Will try it again when I have time.

Just like you we created the entire setup with another ubuntu version with dedicated servers.  Smiley
Pls update your tests here, will try to explore if you are satisfied with fix-diff with your tests.

At least I know the reason now... Grin Grin Grin Grin , I will update if I can made it

Hi Dev,

"DERO at present is fork of Monero(Helium Hydra) with Bytecoin CryptoNote protocol. "

Can we take out the Bytecoin part? People see that as a scam coin, and I think being linked to it does us no good. It would look cleaner without it. Thoughts?

Ok edited elsewhere from site/forum etc. From main post will be edited after few days.

Awesome! Thank you!  Smiley
