Guys, whom you feel as your main competitors?

We are working to bring smart contracts on private chain. Also contracts & contracts language itself should be easy to write, verify, deploy and peoples should be already familiar with it like golang/C.
So we believe Dero is unique and no such parallel chain exists. Contracts should exists, transparent, verifiable on chain but private and only concerned parties involved/invited should see the contract existence.
So to expand the protocol we planed to give rewrite to cryptonote protocol.
Pls visit back soon as we release the roadmap for DERO.

A large number of new coins appear on the cryptonite algorithm. And most of them do not achieve anything. Developers try to create something on the ready-made starting set. They do not succeed, they merge all the premain on the first exchange and the coin immediately dies.
Until we see at least something new, not empty promises. It's just another shitcoin.

We understand your concerns b'cos  image of  crypto world has been changed due to many factors(thats itself is too big too discuss here).
But lets's not loose hope due to some and we will try hard for success.

Pre-mine is high, with no real justification or plan.  Dev has ignored multiple posts pointing this out.  There will be no way to predict a dump on a CryptoNote coin because transactions are hidden.  Huge red flags.

I'm open-minded about pre-mine, but dev please you need to offer some justification.  It's a HUGE premine.  And you must launch a pool ASAP.

Will soon update viewkey for transparency.

So the transactions will be 100% anonymous? In case these transactions will use the toor network?

Yes transactions are anonymous and it can be used with existing tor network.
For Eg. start tor and use the following command to start your local daemon with tor
torsocks ./derod --p2p-bind-ip 127.0.0.1 --no-igd --hide-my-port

Lots of improvements are planned and work is in progress.

The harder your life is the more meaning it has.
yeah you need to lower the premine work on a good website and a more user friendly wallet.
