The Atlantis testnet will be going up/down for the next few hours while tests are happening

The Dero development team are going to readjust the block reward schedule to reduce the number of Dero going out to early ASIC miners until FPGA and other similar devices are more commonly available/cheaper

The FPGA and ASIC makers have already cracked CN7 - another round of secret and hidden mining is one of the worst possible things for any PoW network

Reminder: The Dero Project team are getting ready to upgrade to our new Atlantis mainnet - testing is nearly complete and we will announce a block height snapshot soon

Wonderful. I am hope all its working good.
And i wish i am able to mine with setup
I have trust in This project,
Can i ask how many members are part off the project?

Now that there are many changes in the system, smaller markets may be better.
If it is expanded,Dero will be advantageous for trade.
Because Dero-atlantis is a faster coin in PoW , it arrives faster than other coins.
Because of hacking problem , we cann't put a large amount of coins on the exchange.
Fast and stable coins will be very important.

I cann't sync when using HDD too fast.

Hello people. Any news about Atlantis?
What do you guys say about This
Stuff i can buy? All used
 I5 3570k com cooler + 8(2x4)gb ram 1866mhz + board saberthooth z77 + ssd 120gb +hdd 500gb +fonte 600w gold + rx560 4gb
350€. Its a good price?
Like i Said i dont understand mutch about deskop
1. The devs did not announce yet which algorithm will be used for mining after Atlantis, so we do not know if GPU mining will be possible (or profitable) on Dero. Maybe it will be not Cryptonight-family at all, or only CPU mining with daemon will be possible.
2. For mining rig 4Gb ram and 64Gb SSD is enough. You don't need hdd 500gb at all.
3. Power supply unit 600w will be enough only for ~2 video cards AMD and for ~3 NVidia. You should sum energy consumption for all your video cards and add ~100-150 W for the processor and other stuff.
4. Note, that AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor gives ~520 H/s with overclocking on CryptoNight-V7, the same as Nvidia GTX 1060 - 6 Gb. But it gives only ~200 H/s on CryptoNight-Heavy (GTX 1060 gives ~420 H/s on heavy).  I5 3570 processor has only 6Mb L3 cash memory, so on CryptoNight-V7 you can use 3 threads with ~70*3=210 h/s and only 1 thread on CryptoNight-Heavy with ~70h/s, as it requires 4Mb L3 cash per thread.
5. AMD Ryzen 7 1700 is more energy effective with the same hashrate than Ryzen 7 1700x or Ryzen 7 1800. For Ryzen I suggest to buy a good cooler, as the cheap one will be noisy on full load. AMD processors are hotter than Intel.
6. RX560 4Gb is not good either, as it gives only ~310 H/s. The benchmarks for CryptoNight-V7 you can find here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18IrFEhWP89oG_BTUsQGS5IDG8LUYjCHDiRQkOuQ4a9A/edit#gid=1518673099

Good morning. Thanks for your Reply. Yes i know the ryzen are the best but i am on an low budget.that its for assembly an deskop, and my main concern its if the cpu its good. I Will wait that Atlantis release. About mining rig, i already have One with 6 RX 570 4gb. In monero they make arround 5200 H/s all toguether. Power from wall arround 650w.
But This can be improve i know.
They make each arround 850 H/s with BIOS mod.
Thank you

i must admit this is a coin that i do not understand.i miss the mechanics of it and i have to study it more because i get the feeling is not a shitcoin.

I think this is one of few coin that build it's own blockchain from the scratch https://github.com/deroproject Genesis Mainnet from December, 2017, combines something like DAG into blockchain with Hashing Algo Cryptonote. Good Coins, but at very small markets

Weren't you quoting 500 transactions per second before?

Yep, we're capable of more than 75 TPS with ~9 second blocks (now preparing for mainnet shift)

500TX/s @ ~3 second block times

Here's a comparison between Dero and Monero transactions per second.

Dero: 75 TX/sec
Monero: 0.35 TX/sec

I think it could be that quantity if the block time were 3 seconds. Now, because of current global network conditions (specially in 3rd world countries), it was raised to ~9 seconds (for now).
