The new wallet is taking 60-90% CPU on my nas with minting disabled, while it was talking 1-5% before.
That's how much it was taking with pos active on the old version.
Similarly, on my MAC I am seeing a hight memory usage ~430Mb! My other wallets only use ~ 200Mb. CPU is ~ 40-50% without minting.

Pallas, on what NAS OS did you install the wallet? I would be interested in doing the same.

here is a compiling guide:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7297342

and here a static binary for arm:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580725.msg8008988;topicseen#msg8008988

hope that helps!

Thanks Pallas. I am currently running a Synology or should I say a XPenology. It's Linux based. I'll have a look at those links.

There are no significant code changes between these versions, as you can observe on github commit log. It might be something else. Or it might be just a temporary fluctuation.

Question about coin-control in personal wallet that is staking:  Am I correct in using low and medium priority coins to seed pool wallet as needed?

priority is coin-age based
but keep in mind coin-age is age and amount of coins

10 dmd in one coin pile which minted 10 days ago (or got transfered into ur wallet 10 days ago)
have a coin-age of 100

100 dmd in one coin pile which minted 1 days ago (or got transfered into ur wallet 1 days ago)
have a coin-age of 100

interesting i have my wallet nonstop in minting mode and it use 2-4% CPU and 300mb ram
(and wallet running nonstop since a week now)

thats windows 8.1 amd fx-8350 cpu

i think my values are pretty moderate keep in mind minting mean that wallet calculate hashes too and for that cpu useage is low

Changed my payout scheduling to hourly as twice daily was affecting the pool stats page updating on a regular basis, thanks for your patience while I get everything tuned.

As Danbi has stated regarding his pool, I am not comfortable with holding coins on pool wallet as I have to keep it seeded to ensure payouts,  I want to stake asap so payouts running more frequently Smiley

Work is continuing on Getting Started, Pool Stats, Worker Stats, API, and FAQ.  I will update the pool with each when I am happy with local testing here privately Smiley  Graph Stats will also return but are low on priority list to me ... I will look at PPLNS in the future but not high on list either.

Opening a High difficulty port and a Low difficulty port for those who don't like vardiff is on the list.
Suggestions for GPU farm users please submit suggestions for High diff port setting.
The Low diff port will disconnect a user quickly if being flooded with shares by user.

With all these blockchain problems I have had to reload the blockchain several times.  I have always been careful to back up my wallet, but this last time I am missing a bunch of diamonds.  I had been around 236 and after the last reload I only showed around 65.  I had gotten off on a fork I guess because my difficulty was extremely low. (like .3) I understand those going away when I got on the right fork, but the ones I am missing are legitimate diamonds.  I went back and exported my transaction history and added everything up.  Starting at a zero balance on 6/1/2014, I have mined and minted 355.67874 diamonds but my balance is showing only 136.598378.  I did not count any transaction that was not confirmed,  so I am short 219.080262.  that's a lot to be short.  I have not sold or transferred any diamonds since POS began,  my last transfer out was to cryptsy on 4/27.  Where did my diamonds go and how do I get them back? and why do they show in my transaction history but the balance on the wallet is incorrect?

jaymoeco

guess u minted in the fork.....

try this:
help - debug window - console
and enter the command
repairwallet

Upgraded to 2.0.3.1,
Had the same problem missing coins.
I typed in Repairwallet and it responded:
Mismatched spent coins":11,"amount affected by repair":48.58339400
Type in repairwallet again and it shays Wallet check passed:True

So where are my 49.58339400 Diamonds? They have been in there for a while, Deposit in May, and mining in May / June
And How do I get them back ?

FWIW, Opened the 2.0.3.0 wallet on another computer and the coins are there (Yes, it is the same wallet.dat file)

long story short u have all coins issue solved?
only miracle is why it worked on other computer but not at first one right?

I'm sure you could sort your Judgecoin issues in the other appropriate thread.

People come here to read about Diamond and seeing this might confuse them or make searching for relevant information harder.

Please refrain from talking about non Diamond related topics in this thread.

Sorry, I'll remove my post. The infos was to important for me...

For the benefit of medical research
wana test the new wallet and join a diamond outer circle skype chatgroup?
skype chatgroup?

send me ur skype name i can invite u to a group named "outer circle"
that is people who care about dmd but until yet not part of foundation

its a bit late for beta testing the released wallet
but its a way to have direct access to us faster than on btt

Sorry it was you who invited me to join, but I do not use skype.
I am also resigning from Judge team since I have done nothing but help there and have not got anything in return Sad

Another thing: sigwo is also resigning from Judge as lead team dev ... which I was just recently notified ...

NP popshot, I was invited by cryptonit long ago to join the "outer circle" and so assumed I was part of the team.  I will continue my support here as this keeps the coin alive by prompt feedback to questions that I CAN answer.  My request for donations was only for personal wallets and support of individuals is appreciated.
I am sending my 0.05 to the Foundation as required by the wallet to submit a valid block!  Sorry for getting upset Smiley I am working hard to get us listed at usecryptos Smiley

the "outer circle" is a skype chatgroup of dmd friends
which have direct access to foundation members (we read that chatgroup)
and are the first pool where we choose betatesters

i cant remember u relpied with a skype name and got invited?

u still welcome send me a pm with ur skype name

its not we dont want helping hands or a interesting discussion and direct feedback from community members

it was just required to make clear who is who to not confuse people

I was one of the early adopters of DMD when launched and CPU mining was still viable, I do not sell my DMD Smiley
