It is true that not anyone can send unlimited coins, only the contract holder can do this.
It is also true that the creator, until now, did not spend more than exactly 21'000'000 ebtc (minus the remaining 435,700 eBTC on his account).

There is one transaction with only 0.22996(the last, top one), so:

=21000000
This means the creator of eBTC did not airdrop/spend more than 21 million eBTC UNTIL NOW.
BUT: Satoshi never implemented such a backdoor, the creators of eBTC did!
What prevents eBTC creator from using this backdoor in the future?

The eBTC devs are very responsive and active they always give us some update. If they continue with that phase i'm sure this will bring back the life of ERC20 tokens
