oh man i only have 4000 ebtc -.- i am so stupid
do you think the price will go down again to buy more ?
After the initial hype I would say yes. When I learned one lesson in my half year of crypto trading, never ever buy top gainers coins on coinmarketcap! If you already own them, be happy, if not wait for next time to buy.
Normally I would agree, avoid FOMO.
I'm not so sure with this one, I mean it's not even listed on a real exchange yet, and the community and buzz is growing very, very fast. It feels different. I you wake up tomorrow and see it on a real exchange it could be out of reach. There will be corrections and good dips to buy into, but FOMO might be rational this time. That being said, 4000 eBTC is already a lot.
What makes you think that FOMO might be rational this time?
I've said in my post, it's trading very well on EtherDelta which is a small and very difficult to use exchange, yet people are making wallets to buy it. If it goes on a decent exchange within the next couple of days the price could jump a lot from now.
Yeah for sure how price it is going up it is incredible and FOMO it is really really hard. When you said maybe it is rational I expect something that explains why the reason of this FOMO other than a simply pump&dump, until now all I know it is just a token in ethereum that they use "BTC name" saying it is BTC in ethereum which really not makes sense. If I create a token called eLTC I can say it is LTC in ethereum?
Yes it's a simple idea but solves 2 complicated problems.
1) BTC miner drama.
2) ETH high and growing supply.
It adds the cap of Bitcoin, to the superior ETH blockchain, with all coins already distributed.
You could create an eLTC, but for it to mean anything to anyone you'd have to create a community to give a shit about you and your coin. Often great ideas are simple, and people will say: "Anyone can think of that!", Okay, then why didn't you? Why did Satoshi think of it first. LTC was pretty much a Bitcoin clone, why did the creator of LTC do it before others? Why did it gain popularity when it was copying Bitcoin? Why, why why?
These questions are meaningless. Anyone could have invented the Sandwich, it's a simple idea, but anyone didn't , the Earle of Sandwich did.
Well if you think it is a great idea nothing against your opinion and airdrop was great, and I am thankfull for it. We all like free money, but lets be honest:
It does not fix any of those 2 problems, what you say it is out of context.
It is an ERC20 token so by itself does not fix anything. If fees are cheap it is because ethereum, nothing else. Instead would be more simple to simply use Ethereum or any already token existing can be used for the same prupose, so there is nothing revolutionary in it, only the name of "BTC", even who create it use Satoshi name. And for the marketing saying "it is BTC in Ethereum, best of both worlds together..." I am really shocked someone can believe this.
