It's called the 'network effect', and anyway it happens is fine with me. Bitcoin started with beanie babies and drugs, and good ole fashioned speculation, who cares how it starts, or if some of the early adopters are here to make some money (aren't we all), the point is once the network of eBTC holders is large enough the history of how we got there is open to opinion, but the reality would be a fact- eBTC would be a legit crypto, just like Doge.

Anyone of you knows whether there are plans to make this like some sort of cryptocurrency capable of being used like money to buy stuff? I have been waiting for me to use my ebtc tokens to buy stuff like in ebay or amazon.

Be patient, its still super early in crypto. Less than 1 percent of people even own cryptocurrency. It's going to take longer for mainstream adoption.

But for what they need marketing ? Its just ERC-20 Token and you cant change Contract code . They need to make some platform with use case and use eBTC as fuel in platform . If they think people will use eBTC as payment method istead of any other coin , then its unlikely to happen. But thats just my opinion and i can be wrong , thats how i see it

Exactly with the overwhelming support from its community in due time this free token will full our wallets. I'm still holding my 2457 airdropped coin and bought some when it was @.09$ there is a lot of good news coming out with this coin and hopefully it could drive its price to move upward.
