unlocking means decrypting the wallet.. if you never decrypted it... it doesnt need unlocking.. and the unlock button is not working...
to mint it just doesnt have to be encrypted/locked which is the same.

)) you know, this makes me happier than price rise to have some more speed for the pool. ouch which ssd? ssd has difference level of quality best one is PCI connected SSDs.
And I'll make sure the fastest way you benefit from pool some time later with pci ssds. I am old expert about hosting, have no worry at all, i know what i am doing very well...
Also we use optimized OS. I always believe software optimizations senior to hardware ones. Because hardwares are already evolved to very high level but software coming behind this line.
So brothers, take your seat belts... We will start taking off..

Im a bit confused with the whole POS/Minting
I might be way off, but does it work something like this:

- The coins need to be in the wallet for 42 days, then you get POS interest? I locked my wallet, but this doesnt affect it right? for POS to continue I need to open my wallet once in every 42 days?
Minting the wallet needs to be unlocked, does the wallet actually need to be open for the minting to work? does coin amount and age still affect the minting?

Well, we can color in theme later to green, first let it work as it is, concept is this "we mine to clean world or greener world". Remember ecc goal to increase ecological awareness in the publics. This time you will feel better, because you are mining for a purpose. Not only money but also good message to world. When you mine actually it pollutes the planet we living, under the name of fair delivery.It's what happens we mine all, other prices lowers, because we sell them to buy ECC and ECC rises. I think whats going on is people are just staying quiet while all the blocks are found. Everyone is just trying to get more coins that all.Nobody posting in the thread so prices are starting to drop a little while many just sit back and buy cheap.
Also don't expect a lot of activity on Easter weekend. I'll be lucky to even take a look at the forum or a exchange tomorrow.

We are not the last on MintPal, if you mean having the lowest price. I counted 5 coins that are currently trading at less than 2.5% of ECC's price because they are priced at 5 or 6 litoshi. But if you would like to sell me all of your ECC at that price, I suppose that would count as action.
BTW, I just cast a few more votes for ECC. That is action, too. Did you?

Has anyone figured out what the STAKE: line in the wallet means yet? My guess is that it's the number of coins eligible to earn interest (older than 42 days) but which haven't done it yet, but that's just a guess. Is it necessary to keep the wallet open until that number drops to zero to collect the interest?
Stake line is merely the temporary allocation of the portion of unconfirmed stake.
When group of coins generates a stake block, it moves to Unconfirmed (with its stake) until the correct number of confirmations is received.
Thanks. Then, just to make sure the stake block doesn't get orphaned, I suppose it would be at least a good idea to keep your wallet open until it becomes confirmed. Assuming someone wants to hold their ECC and wants to open their wallet just long enough to generate any stake that they are due, are there any other signs they should look for to show them that the wallet was open long enough?

Early days yet.
There are a lot of coins out there...The genetically superior will win. ECC needs more coding talent, and that will come in time if we continue positive activity.
