So there is not any problem here! If the matter is about MINT and it's bad codes, please share the trouble there and instead of promoting this bla bla, repair it and help MINT fix the issue. i think its important that ecc get in on big markets, like btc-e. there is a lot of people that doesnt know ecc, so i think its important that the more markets trading the coin, better.
and we should give a bigger importance to the coin. give sense about your existence. we should expand the market, and answer the question: why ecc exists?
ecc should be accepted into stores, and people must accept it as a coin.
thats the difference between a real coin to a pyramid scheme and some cryptos, wich were created to make one or two rich.

We should make pressure in big markets to accept the coin. Everyone here must view the first page of the forum and look at our goals. When a the people stay in touch with btc-e, cryptsy etc they look at the volume of transactions that they are missing without the coin.
Thats the first step. When ecc be in big spaces, more people will know about the project.

I apologize for the noob question but what is the difference between ECCoin and MintCoin?
The code and early stages are similar to Mintcoin (there are small differences, like the PoS % and the mining taper: small differences can magnify like the butterfly effect). Mintcoin has a a sound foundation, likewise ECC. Mintcoin had a 3% premine, ECC premine was 1%. The minimum coin age for PoS is 20 days Mint and 42 days ECC. The longer coin age is intended to make the PoS more stable, less orphans. The % stake is similar (5% more for ECC) it just has a longer starting age (meaning the PoS coins come in larger batches, but less often)
Another variant for ECC is the focus and commitment of the developers and community. Examples: Getting onto 12 exchanges in 3 weeks from launch, and significant marketing outside the established Cryptocurrency market.
Lastly, the biggest difference is the price. Mintcoin has a cap. value of 3 times ECC , it is 1 month ahead, and ECC is following a similar track.

They are clearly not lazy and know how hard it is to win, so that is a good sign, scammers are usually exceptionally lazy and overly greedy. So that is enough for me to mine and buy a little bit, and see how it plays out.

To keep the price down and accumulate large amounts at a cheap price before ECC switches to POS and takes a run towards it's real value. I believe this to be 20sat +... Remember: Sell when others are greedy & buy when others are fearfull. I would say now is the best time to buy, so i buy and hold!
ECC has a sound code, and a large community. Look at the length of this thread, for a start.
There are a lot of people out there who understand only a part of cryptocurrency genetics. Nothing is perfect, but there are worse and better. This is one of the better.

I am sure the dev had its reasons to delete the posts ( even if i do not agree with it ), and i am sure that he will take a look into it and give more details.

Its still a very new coin. There is still a lot of time to mine it ! And you should be happy that the prize is low, you can buy very cheap coins right now !
Give it some time, the community is growing everyday, soon there will be facebook adds campaign and google adwords one.
The dev is working non stop and the coin is improving day by day !

Important info about Coin-Swap
