I have traded Eidoo a few times just day trading but have been considering making a purchase for a long term hold. There seems to be quite a bit of advertising this gets on coinmarketcap

This is scheduled for Q1 2018 if you check the roadmap, you are still not late for the party and 5$ is just an entry price considering the price can reach 20-30$ by end of 2018.

It is a quality project with a professional team working on it. Don’t expect a huge gain on the short term, but see this as a mid to long term investment. They have ICO’s where they will burn some Eidoo tokens along he way and when the exchange is there, more tokens will be burned so the tokens will gain in value. Very bullish towards this token and have faith in the roadmap and its future!

what causes this token to strengthen?

A good proffesional team with a roadmap that can make this a very profitable token. As with stocks the price is low when it is long until a product is delivered and gets higher the closer you get if there no setbacks and it still looks promising

Etherdelta is collapsing already, this is a great chance for Eidoo if there are no other competitors right now. People are looking for an Etherdelta alternative but they know nothing about Eidoo.

This could be a good time to launch indeed, but that does not help if the product is not ready. And i am certain that when Eidoo does release it will be as smooth as possible, and not a rushed product

But it will be exciting when they release it! The wallet on Android works very good for me, so my expectations are quite high for the release!

Debit cards are old projects but always works to attract investors. I'm a holder of EIDOO tokens too only I got it from exchange, I'm surprise how it got on big exchanges so I instantly bought it after learning. 4k of it I think is enough. I think this will also compete with ETHOS.

Hard to say what the price will be. But what is important is that the team have taken a good idea and are working hard to get that idea up and running.
As investors we can just sit back and wait for the magic to happen

That's the only way to get the 25% of tokens if you invested in the ICO.Not sure how many are holding it in their eidoo wallet and how many day trading, but it would be interesting if someone can bring up the stat from the team for the current list of holders whose token remain untouched after the ICO.
