- The ability to add new external peers to the peer network by using a handshake mechanism.

I believe once it hits the network and ready to mine, there will be so many people mining eon. Since it's a new coin (and of course with big community to grow the ecosystem) and the difficulty still in an easy stage.

Will you provide additional information on how to setup a node once the mainnet launch? I'm interested in setup the node but I'm not technical sound.

It doesn't get much safer than it is right now. There are no (non-testnet) EON coins (n.b: EON is not a token). They simply do not exist. They arn't "on the portal" at all. What you see there is nothing more than a number which represents your future entitlement. It's an entry in a database. It isn't a wallet, nor does it "support" transactions. People can't steal what doesn't exist.

Your EON will never be as safe as today, as once they are issued you will have to store them in your own walled and handle security.

I think currently no one can move the EONs off the dashbaord so it's pretty much safe

Exscudo is the oldest platform that didn't distribute its real tokens yet after a successful crowdsale? Team is probably scared of the current altcoin market situation. Perhaps early next year should be a good start. Platform looks good as there are still many good projects right there that needs more exchanges. I just don't like margin trading though as it is more prone to power playing by exchanges group.

I'm seeing a trend many great projects take their time working on the project before releasing their mainnet. Exscudo's long term vision will pay off.

Let's hope for that because they are really preparing it so when it's out in the market the price will be good.
Although I am very excited to receive my EONs but I just convince myself that I need to wait, I am monitoring this thread constantly hoping big surprise will come out soon.

Thats true, waiting for a big success = big price for tokens is the most logical strategy=)
Hope there will be no more delays with the roadmap, and the exchange start will be really in the Q1 of 2018
