Tried Patch 6. Can't get it to work. Uh, but don't mind me. Maybe someone else here tries it and it works. If so, I'll have to try again or something.
Uh-oh
we tested across Win 7-10, Linux daemons, and there is a Mac client being built. They all worked but if you are experiencing an issue we'd like to work with you to correct it.
Just let us know what it's doing exactly more than likely this is a simple fix.
Nice to see you again btw Dabs.
Updated and working fine
Confirming that update is working... Waiting for Masternodes
By the way: We will move to satoshi trade for ESPERS very soon; so to speed up this, remove all sell orders under 200 litoshi
Hehehe thanks for the confirmation and yeah the price does look to be climbing, hell we don't even have the masternodes in yet and the mining is still disabled in the mainnet release for now.
just wait for that to be finished
Let alone anything else lol.
Updated the daemon and running fine so far :-)
Excellent!
why avast says that has a virus on this ?
I guess because it contains the miner, which is the usual false positive of most antivirus software.
hmmm.. maybe... will wait dev pronunce.
Indeed it is a false positive because of the way the wallet interacts with the Espers_Launcher (or at least checks to see if you have it on your system then uses it if you do)
We are looking into eventually having a full code review so that users can know this software is built clean without question.
Finally the new client released!
Standalone version works fine. However upgrade from launcher didn't work.
So I see a new design only. All the rest is the same ?
When you start esper launcher it says this:
New Windows v0.8.5.0 Patch 6 launched! If you haven't updated yet, please do so! There is a softfork and many back-end improvements that will improve the way the chain runs and operates. This/next week we will be rolling out Masternodes and the built-in mining features which are completed and just being tweaked some more prior to release. So this patch is the first step.

Wanted to buy more cheap Esper, crap :p
Big thanks for pointing that out there
We're continuing on with Development. The holidays really messed everything up but we're getting back into the swing of things.
The standalone qt looks good, i wish yobit n cryptopia would update the wallet
Yobit -> apparently we have to re-purchase a listing and THEN they'll fix it (from what I hear, their support never contacted me ever....)
Cryptopia -> uhmmmm.... they slandered us and everyone we were involved with then delisted all of our projects..... so....
(this is old news mind you, Hex apparently had someone tell him I was talking "shit" and trying to belittle Cryptopia when of course I never had done this, instead of talking with me he simply delisted everything and told me to "go fuck yourself" so... again. That's a bridge that's well torched. Not my doing on that one)I've posted a pull request to fix initial configuration file creation.
If you are having issues running the wallet with enpty espers.conf, create it yourself with a text editor, or wait for the new build.
Reviewed, accepted, and merged the request, thank you! What a stupid thing to miss! (On my part)

Updated without any (network, staking) problems.
But I can not select anything in the "Generate ESP" section.
Is a miner included or not?
Here's the deal:
The miner and mining section are as of right now 100% functional in our Espers test source. It's been implemented as of a few hours ago into the main source and we're working on a couple other things promised as fixes and features for this upcoming weekend's release.
So yes the miner is there and build, is it GitHubbed yet? not completely, is it enabled in the main wallet? no, just hang on bud
I'm glad to see the devs are continuously working on this coin, seems like an interesting project to me.
The 75'000$ marketcap is almost a joke tho.
Meh, the marketcap isn't what were looking at right now. As it's showing for itself, as the client and chain improve so will the price point. So we'll just keep devving and we'll see what happens

Nice! espers deserv this!
cancel sell order
DONEhehehehe
nice, I was also planning on buying some more up for cheap... oh well.
@EveryoneQuick heads upThis weekend we hope to release a new client (will NOT be mandatory and will NOT feature any forks)
That being said we plan to include a few new features into the client itself as well as the Espers Launcher.
The launcher will allow users to pick from multiple dat files upon load if the user has more than one data file with coins on it. This includes the ability to backup any of the data files as well to a location of your choice or by default the user's desktop. In otherwords a "dat" selector. To make managing the client and the system easier on the user.
Furthermore the Launcher is being adapted for Linux and Mac systems as the codebase for it was built to be cross-platform capable. This way all users can get the most of everything we are building.
As always, big thanks to all of you using the system and we're looking forward to the future with you all. Can'd do it without you awesome folks!
